location was excellent, we walk to the Dome and Ponte Vecchio. The staff was super friendly and nice. everything was perfect.

I would not stay at Hotel San Gallo Palace again.
Our stay was pleasant until the final day, when an irreplaceable personal item that I have owned for approximately 25 years disappeared from our room after housekeeping service. This was not a valuable item that would normally be placed in a hotel safe, but it has enormous sentimental value and cannot be replaced.
What disappointed me most was not just the missing item, but how the situation was handled by hotel management and staff.
The evening the item was reported missing, I was told I would receive an update by 8:00 AM the next morning. No one contacted me. At 9:00 AM, I had to go to the front desk myself, where it became clear that housekeeping had not yet been contacted to investigate. After another hour with no update, I returned to the desk again and staff contacted housekeeping a second time. Roughly another hour later, I was told they could not find the item.
As we were checking out, I offered to leave my contact information in case the item was later located. Surprisingly, staff initially did not seem interested in taking my information because they believed the search was complete. Only after I insisted did they agree to take my details and mention that they would contact their laundry provider. In my opinion, checking with the laundry company should have been one of the first steps taken, not something brought up only after a guest was already leaving the property.
Losing a sentimental item is upsetting. Feeling that the investigation lacked urgency, communication, and thoroughness made the experience significantly worse.
If you are traveling with anything that has sentimental value, I would strongly recommend exercising extreme caution. Based on my experience, I left feeling that guest concerns regarding lost property were not handled with the level of attention, communication, or customer service I would expect from a hotel in this category.

La limpieza de la habitación no era buena .
Staff was super helpful and friendly at all times. We had an issue with the A/C and the late shift worked hard to make it happen. But they even offered to relocate us to another hotel because they were full. They pulled it off and we had a great stay. Supermarket nearby and nice restaurants. The outside bar was lively.

L’hôtel est relativement loin du centre. Le préciser pour les personnes de déplaçant difficilement. Par contre tram à proximité et direct aéroport…
