Great room/hotel & the perfect location, everything that you need, the staff went above and beyond to make this stay extra special for my daughters 7th birthday as per my special request, not just the decoration but to also give us a room with a lovely view of the water - she will not forget this thank you. Also to add they changed my parents room from the 6th floor to the 2nd due to my parents height concern which was very kind.

The location
The bathroom door kept getting stuck so wasn’t always able to shut the door, the location of the room we easy to find but kept hearing people walk past going to the lift
Can’t fault it
- The front desk staff were great
- The location was perfect for events in Excel
Everything else falls into the dislike category
- Most uncomfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on
- No noise proofing (constantly hearing noise even when in the back of the hotel)
- Bed sheets not changed even when they had a stain
- Towel numbers kept changing (none one day, only two another)
- Stink in toilet on day 1
- Sink barely draining
- Hair dryer barely worked

My daughter stayed 4 nights over the bank holiday for the Excel comic convention for her 21st birthday. The hotel left a birthday card, balloons and macaroons in her room. She was delighted. Thank you 🙏
Only down side is there is no outside terrace over the River Thames, but you can use the Novotel terrace next door which is lovely.
