Lovely hotel with huge potential but really not a great stay
Pros:

Room is nicely decorated, lobby is very nice although someone had left their apple cores in the lounge area which really didn't look very good. Reception staff don't seem to clean up after guests or call housekeeping to assist. Receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Room wasn't clean when we checked in (410). The toilet had poop from the previous guest and there were long dark hairs in the shower. We had to call reception and request a room move. Moved to room 710, much better. Pillows are too flat, bed was very hard. The hotel is very noisy you can hear other people shutting their doors all night. The extraction system or something is very noisy. We specifically requested a quiet room as we had a very early flight in the morning and both rooms were right across from the lift so clearly no attention gets paid to guest requests. The booking was for 2 people but there was only 1 set of towels in the bathroom. We had to look for another set which was in the cupboard. Again, no attention paid to the booking details which said 2 guests. The lighting in the room is awful, I could not do my makeup at the dressing table I had to stand in the bathroom. When we checked out in the morning there were no staff present at all, surely there should be a Night Porter or Night Auditor? We have stayed with you before but this stay was poor.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt günstig in der Nähe der Fußgängerzone. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück vielfältig, besonders das frisch zubereitete Omelette. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

In unserem Zimmer fehlte der Föhn, und es gab keine Toilettenbürste. Es gab fast keine Schränke, um irgendetwas aufzubewahren. Wenn man für wenige Tage unterwegs ist, mag das ausreichen, aber nicht wie wir, die wir über zwei Wochen unterwegs waren.

Wonderful find in the city and excellent value for money!
Pros:

Ideally located. Lovely welcome - actually, all staff were wonderful for the duration of our stay. The room was perfect, with comfortable beds, a lovely shower, and luxury products. Breakfast set-up was impressive. Will now be my go-to location when returning to the city!
