Hyatt Place Savannah Airport

Be aware that this hotel is currently under renovation, and during my stay I observed roaches the hotel clerk described as “palmetto bugs” crawling on the walls in the room, with no visible effort to address the issue through pest control.

What made the experience even more disappointing was the handling of the situation by management. The General Manager initially offered an accommodation related to my Hyatt Globalist benefits, then later reversed course and stated that a staffing “judgment call” had been made and they could no longer honor what had previously been offered. The communication felt dismissive and unaccommodating rather than customer-focused. I was threatened to be charged more for their bad judgement call.

Between the renovation disruptions, hot and muggy hallways, parking lot full of crates and moving trucks blocking parking spaces, moldy smells in hallways, pest concerns, and inconsistent treatment of loyal Hyatt members, this was not the level of service I expected. If you don’t mind being thrown several wrenches during your stay then this is the right place.

I was really impressed by Tom's exceptional customer.service .Also the black woman in food service who went above and beyond for our benefit.

Location close to outlets and great restaurant next door.

Location to outlet shopping and downtown Savannah. Breakfast was included.

Rooms were pathetically pleasing and spacious . Modern looking bathroom with a sliding barn door. Parking was plentiful

This was a very convenient location off I95, which was right on my travel route. Check-in was easy, and it was pet-friendly. The room has everything, breakfast included. However, the hotel was still undergoing renovation. Will be even better when complete. Would stay here again!

The Savannah location is easy to get to from I-95 and it is near the outlet mall. Sam Snead's grill is right next door with is a plus!. Also the breakfast is substantial considering other hotel choice options. A variety of fruits, pastries, hot and food options, cereal, yogurt, etc.

My kids and I stayed at this location on the way to Florida, being that it was right off the interstate and under renovation, I did not have high hopes. We arrived late and found the front counter person very nice and welcoming, for as much renovation going on the lobby was clean enough, you could tell the construction traffic had been busy. We stayed on the renovated second floor and the room was very nice and clean, I especially liked the separate living room area. The bathroom is great , one note for the hotel though is think the slope of the shower floor is a little off and will lead to mold issues if not properly cleaned consistently, Coffee was hot, breakfast was average, nothing to write home about. For the purpose of our stay, the hotel fit our needs.

The remodel is INCREDIBLE! I have stayed at this property every visit for over a year, with stays as long as several weeks at a time. The new rooms are so bright and airy! The minimalist decor is EVERYTHING. The bathroom is a night and day difference. Amazing.

Friendly staff who go above and beyond to welcome and remember me. Every time. It feels like home. ❤️

Nice new renovation going on . Clean brand new rooms . The Hyatt experience is on with the rooms . The hotel will be very nice when done .

WE have stayed here a number of times. The staff is very gracious and welcoming. Breakfast is good. The hotel is being renovated and the room renovations are excellent. We stayed in one of the rooms that was almost completely renovated and it was spacious and well laid out. Comfortable bed, room and bath were very clean. Sam Snead's is literally right next to the hotel which is great after riding in a car all day- good food and varied menu right next door.
