Cons:

Het hotel heeft mujn reservering (en betaling) overboekt. Het was behoorlijk oncomfortabel nieuws na een intercontinentale vlucht. Ik wacht op restitutie door Booking. De staf van het hotel heeft geen poging gedaan om te vragen of ik nog van de kamer gebruik ging maken. Ze hebben er gewoon een andere gast nog een keer voor laten betalen. Ingelofelijk.

Don't be put off by the rather jaded exterior: inside the rooms are clean and spacious.
Pros:

Spacious clean room, with good facilities. A convenient place for accessing Whitehorse itself, and for us to get cleaned up after several nights bush camping out in the wilds.

Cons:

The exterior of the property looks quite shabby, but inside it's nice and clean. The thin walls and wooden floors mean there's quite a bit of noise from guests moving around the building. Parking space is fairly limited outside: it might be a problem if there's a lot of guests staying.

Cons:

They lost my record of payment at checkin and overcharged us. After a lengthy wait a senior person finally straightened it out and refunded the money.No apology offered.
The curtains were very old and torn. The bathroom sink was badly cracked and paint was peeling around the tub.

Unaccommodating staff, dangerous area and management disregards safety concerns and refuses refunds after bookings despite concerns for personal safety. We did not stay here and were refused a refund.

Not so good...
Pros:

Beds were hard, but the staff was nice. There is an underground parking area we used to park our motorcycles, which apparently several other people knew about that were traveling on motorcycles.. several bikes were parked with ours in a locked area below the hotel.

Cons:

The location is a little rough, its very close to a bar that was overrun with homeless people that were more than willing to try and talk to us. The hotel is really old with narrow hallways, rooms were clean, but needed to be updated. The electrical sockets in our room were worn and and plug in items would fall out of the plug. There was a large crack in the ceiling drywall. The bathroom was in horrible condition with grout lines filled with silicone and cracked tiles on the floor. Probably wouldnt stay there again.

Horrible and disgusting, never again
Pros:

Nothing, the place was a dump, not at all as advertised on booking.com. Shower would be so hot/then cold, bathroom taps didn't work properly. One plug to use for microwave, fan, coffee pot, of which had to be placed on floor to use, cord too short. Extension cords snakes around the room, filthy walls. Front doors packing taped together and entire place reeked of cigarettes.

Cons:

Read all reviews before booking this place, all negatives were buried, at $200/night one would expect a higher level. It will be a long time before we use booking.com again if this is the type of place they endorse!!
