this was the perfect hotel for our stay in Positano - fantastic balcony and terrace.
Pros:

The view was sensational from our balcony because the hotel location is so perfect - high enough for views and low enough to get into town easily. The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The historical lift is obviously a feature and you wouldn't want to change it but it is a bit of a struggle to get in and out. The breakfast was good but the scrambled eggs and bacon was a little cool. No such problem if you ordered an omelette.

Beautiful old hotel, great service and fantastic location.

Hotel Poseidon is just a gorgeous hotel. Fantastic staff and service. Everything is so clean. The pool area and terrace are beautiful, and when we visited (in April) it was still on the quiet side, which meant it was so relaxing to just laze by the pool. Cocktails were great, although slightly expensive, which is to be expected in a hotel. The views from the sea view room is to die for, and well worth the extra we paid. The location is fantastic. Just a short walk to everything you need. The bus stop is nearby, so we easily got a bus to Nocelle for lunch and were picked up for dinner at Il Ritrovo. Although it may seem a little pricey, in comparison, I think it is still good value for money, as Positano accommodation is so expensive anyway. We would definitely stay again if we visit Positano in the future.

Incredible service, food and hotel. Would highly recommend! Best Views in Positano.
Pros:

Staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were lovely and I liked the fact they shut the terrace to non resident guests until after 6pm so that as guests we got to enjoy the view at the pool rather than watch people take photos all day.

We also got to use their car for free which was a lovely experience. Would highly recommend and would love to go back.

Pros:

Everything was phenomenal and exceeded our expectations, the view from our terrace room was breathtaking and so worth the money, very friendly and fast service during breakfast, dinner and by the pool
