My Place Hotel

It was noisy and we could not turn air con on. Bathroom way too small and shower mixer had been pulled out of the wall. Decor tired.

Zimmer unterm Dach. Wir waren an sehr heißen Tagen da und es war ein Ofen dort oben. Man sollte vielleicht für solche Tage mobile Klimageräte bereithalten. Auf Nachfrage habe ich lediglich 1 Ventilator bekommen, was aber bei der gestauten Hitze und für 3 Personen nicht viel bewirkt hat. Wir haben mit feuchten Handtüchern bedeckt geschlafen. Nachts wurde es draußen zwar kühler aber die Fenster ließen sich nur 5cm öffnen, was natürlich null geholfen hat.
Bad total veraltet, Fön mit Tape "repariert", Dusche ging nur, wenn sie wollte (plötzlich kam nur HEIßES Wasser, dann wieder nur kaltes. Die Umstellung auf Dusche wollte erst nach 5 Versuchen einrasten und sprang auch immer wieder raus...), die Toilettenspülung hat auch immer einige Anläufe gebraucht.
Das Frühstück...nun ja, es war mir schon klar, dass es einfach sein würde aber das war schon extrem minimalistisch! 2 Marmeladen, Honig, Toast und 3 Müslivarianten. Wenn man wollte hätte es noch ein aufgebackenes Croissant oder Schokobrötchen gegeben. Wenigstens bisschen Frischkäse, Käse oder Wurstaufschnitt o.ä. wäre nett gewesen. So ein minimalistisches "continental breakfast" hab ich noch nie gehabt...
Allgemein wirkt das Hotel als würde schon lange nichts mehr investiert worden sein - was schade ist, denn es hat Potential.

No AC, only a small fan which was clearly not enough

The room had relatively small windows and minimal air conditioning, resulting in it being uncomfortably hot. Also the ensuite toilet / bathroom door didn't close properly.

Camera piccola, moquette ovunque (tipico stile inglese per carità) camera nel sottotetto, caldo assurdo
Mancanza di aria condizionata, considerando che siamo capitati nei giorni di estremo caldo a Londra , la camera era un forno invivibile.
Colazione scarsa e di pessima qualità
Il prezzo non vale per il servizio offerto (unica nota positiva è la vicinanza alla metro)

La mala preparación de las habitaciones, aunque no hubiera habido ola de calor,no están nada preparados para el verano. La ultima planta es un horno con una ventana de 60 cm. No se ventila y encima la preparan para 3 personas. Hubo movimiento de gente en otras plantas y no nos cambiaron de habitacion. Es una pasada haber estado en esas condiciones SIN PODER DESCANSAR, y por 200 libras la noche, siendo una ciudad turistica y lo que necesitas por la moche es descansar y mas con un niño pequeño.

O quarto estava muito quente e o facto de só funcionar a ventoinha do teto também não ajudava. Senti falta de tomadas, éramos 3 pessoas e não havia suficientes para podermos carregar os telemóveis.

La chambre individuelle (lit simple) était particulièrement étroite et exiguë par rapport au tarif demandé. Pour ne rien arranger, la climatisation était en panne et les fenêtres étaient condamnées, rendant la chaleur étouffante malgré la présence d'un ventilateur.

Le petit-déjeuner s'est révélé décevant : du café soluble en poudre à diluer soi-même et un buffet déjà vide (seulement des toasts disponibles) à peine 30 minutes après l'ouverture.

Enfin, le service de bagagerie : après le check-out, les valises sont simplement laissées étiquetées dans le hall contre un mur, à la vue et au nez de tous. Même si la réceptionniste assure que la surveillance est permanente, cela laisse à désirer

The breakfast really does need a little more attention both in quality and choice. The addition of some fruit and yoghurts and bread rolls, better quality marmalade and jam and bread eg some granary.
My single room did not have a power point by the bed as advertised.
Tea making facilities would addd immeasurably to the comfort.

The layout of the room and the noise. Also putting my driving licence on the paperwork and showing me another person's information.

Uitgewoonde, achterstalling onderhoud. Matras was grote kuil. Ontbijt was karig. Schreeuwt om kwaliteitsimpuls.

La stanza per 3 persone è minuscola, il letto singolo non ha nemmeno il comodino, bagno minuscolo senza finestra e senza aeratore, pieno di peli su lavabo, doccia, muri, appena entrati quindi non pulito, lavandino attaccato al wc zero spazio, se carica l'acqua nel wc, non esce acqua dal lavandino nè dalla doccia, in bagno c'è un secchiello per buttare acqua nel wc perchè lo scarico non scarica, puzza di umidità perchè stanza attigua piove dal soffitto/tetto con secchio per terra per raccogliere pioggia e porta aperta che dà sul corridoio senza finestre, colazione poverissima e quello che c'è è di scarsa qualità, pane a fette ghiacciato, marmellata scarsa sembra gelatina, frutta non c'è, brioche le danno loro misurate e di 2 tipi, succo arancia il peggiore, caffè solubile imbevibile, non c'è niente di salato, pessima esperienza per il costo che ha. Sconsigliato.
