Great location, but the rooms are showing their age and need a deep clean.
Pros:

I stayed here years ago and had such a positive experience that I decided to come back. The location is still fantastic, and I enjoyed the unique theme and atmosphere of the property. We especially loved roasting marshmallows in the evening and listening to local musicians perform in the courtyard.

Cons:

Unfortunately, I could tell that the cleanliness and overall condition of the rooms have declined since my previous stay. There was visible dirt and grime along the baseboards, the bathroom door was noticeably deteriorated at the bottom, and the floors creaked significantly when walking around the room. The shower was quite small, and the overall room felt like it was trying to strike a balance between vintage and updated, but unfortunately leaned more toward old and dingy than charming.

The room was clean enough that we were comfortable staying there, but the property would greatly benefit from some renovations and a very thorough deep cleaning before the wear and tear become more serious. While we still enjoyed parts of our stay, particularly the location and courtyard atmosphere, we would not choose to stay here again.

Everything was perfect the beds were super comfy and thats something I look for because I have back issues and they had an AC and a celling fan and they both worked super well it was a perfect room and perfect area to be around

Not as expected.
Pros:

Found our stay to be disappointing.
There is a sharp high pitched squealing noise that happened when we heard a neighbors shower turn on. We could hear people walking above us at 5am and a squeaky floor below us as we walked throughput the room. There was a dog next door that was barking as well. Tiny shower and small tv, balcony room overlooks the parking lot. The covered lot is one way in and one way out so you have to back out every time.

We frequently stay in Tahoe... comfort and customer care are important to us. It felt very absent here. Very disappointing.

Cons:

There were bedbugs. We all woke up to multiple bites. There were visible dirt/hand/foot/shoe prints under the upper bed bunks. There was a strange smell in the hallways in the evening (from the brewery?). The ceiling fan was broken. Slow response from staff, though they were all nice.

-ein sehr gut aufgewertetes Motel
-Bad etwas klein.

Cons:

2026 / 2027 wird gegenüber ein riesen Hotel Komplex gebaut, könnte die Idylle trüben, wir hatten Glück, während unserem Aufenthalt war dei Baustelle rühig

2min zu Fuss zum Heavenly Gebiet
2min zum Beach, als Hotelgast kann man an den Strand (wie ein Strandbad) für 5 US$, sonst kostet es 30 US$. In South Lake Tahoe sind fast alle Zugänge zum See privatisiert, oder gegen Gebühr
Wenn man ein paar KM fährt, kann man über die State Parks auch zu See gelangen. ist auch sehr schön gemacht. Ich kann den Sand Harbor sehr empfehlen

Great for families and I could see bringing my dog next time.
Pros:

The young lady working at the front desk was definitely the nicest employee!
She made me feel welcomed right away.
The outside accommodation, hot tub, fire pit, pool table, free cocktails during happy hour. Parking is definitely a plus! It’s free and convenient to your room. Walking to casino & restaurants & entertainment was right there around the corner.That’s uncommon in Tahoe.Was great for the family, we had multiple rooms. Kid and adult friendly!

Cons:

There’s nothing they can do about it but the room was super small.The room was clean and comfortable that’s the most important thing. They should invest in a better shower head but besides that it was lovely and will be back

Pros:

Staff was so incredibly helpful and polite. Rooms were clean. Having a coffee shop and tap house on site was amazing! Walking distance to the water and to the main shops. 10/10
