From North and South: leave the M6 motorway at junction 43, then take the A69 road signposted Carlisle City Center. Drive all the way towards city center and then take the left after Papa John's on to Cecil Street.

Free parking, car park English Gate Plaza South is located at the back of the hotel, please use the postcode CA1 1NT , entrance via Portland Place or Cecil Street. Parking is free from arrival till 12 noon on the day of check out, the back door will lead you to the reception area, please inform staff at check in to register your vehicle.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Its near the main point of attractions. Castle, food and drinks. Noisy street, but we like it here.
I booked for a room near the lifts. My partner is disabled. The room was not ready at 3pm.for 1 hour. I went out to shop, pouring rain . Surely a room for disabled person should be a priority, in case they need to rest after the journey.. So am dissapointed by this reaction

Rooms are very run down
Friendly, helpful staff. Good sized room, clean and modern. Meals and restaurant good. Good selections too.
Nothing about the hotel but sadly, there was a lot of noise from the nightclub next door and from people outside, during our stay.
It was clean and close to the station. No unnecessary frills
