Very disappointing experience, especially in the motel section
Cons:

We booked two rooms in total: one room in the hotel section and another room in the motel section because we needed a room with two queen beds.

Both the hotel and motel sections felt quite old, dated, and poorly maintained. However, the motel section was significantly worse.

There was no running water in our original motel room. We reported the issue and were offered another room, also in the motel section, but unfortunately there was no running water in that room either. Since it was already very late at night, changing hotels at that hour was not a realistic option for us.

The condition of the motel section was especially unpleasant. The entrance smelled strongly of urine. When we went up to the second floor, parts of the carpet were soaking wet, and there was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the motel area, including inside the rooms.

The way the situation was handled by the staff made the experience even more frustrating. The person working at the front desk overnight initially told us that someone would be sent to check the water problem. When I later went back to the lobby, he asked whether nobody had come yet. As the conversation continued, he then explained that there were actually no staff members available at that time.

He also said that because he was working the night shift, he did not know what was happening with the water issue, apologized, and generally brushed the situation aside without providing any meaningful solution.

The following morning, the staff member at the front desk seemed completely unaware of what had happened during the night. After we explained the situation, it was again handled with little more than a simple apology.

To be clear, while both sides of the property looked old and in need of maintenance, the motel section was in particularly poor condition. Having no running water in two different motel rooms, combined with the urine smell at the entrance, soaking wet carpets, unpleasant odors inside the rooms, and the lack

Disappointing but liveable
Pros:

Breakfast was served at 7am, which is a bit late, but we ended up sleeping in. They serve the free breakfast à la carte. I believe the options were eggs or waffles or pancakes, but don’t recall.

Cons:

I got a phone call almost as soon as we moved into the room. They asked if everything was OK in the room. I said we had enough towels so no concerns… wasn’t sure what they were calling about. We went out to dinner then came back to shower and sleep. Room had a faint smoke smell. I only realized after having the door closed that we realized. I was too tired to call, and definitely no energy to move our things.

It seemed like they knew there was problem with the room and had aired it out previously to rid the smell. It wasn’t effective.

It served the purpose.
Pros:

I liked the air conditioner
The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Room had old scratched up night table and dresser (like from a scary movie)
TV did not work until staff came and fixed it when i was out
Hairdryer did not work until staff came and fixed it when I was out
Bath and shower area were old and patched together with very poorly applied chalking
shower curtain inadequate and water got all over the floor beside the tub.
Should have advised if you order breakfast to have in your room that you had to go and pick it up and bring it back to the room. Food ended up cold and tasteless.

C’était très bien car j’y suis arrêté à l’aller et au retour .
Pros:

Bien situé,près de trans canadienne.Déjeuners compris étaient excellents.Prêt des resto et magasins.

Cons:

Établissement un peu vieillot, c’est bien quand même. Exemple rideau de la chambre qui se décroche .

Overall stay was ok just except I found random hair before I shower. great customer service from the girls during breakfast tho and the food is pretty good. I should’ve inform about the hair in the front desk but it is what it is.

Cheap and cheerful
Pros:

The room was exactly as described, comfortable and had a good bathroom.
The breakfast and service were great. The staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The carpark gets very full due to the beer shop next door. It's also not very well laid out.

This hotel turned out to be a great stop during our cross-country motorcycle trip. After spending the day on the road, we appreciated having a clean, comfortable place where we could relax and recharge.

One thing that really stood out was the staff. Every person we met was welcoming, courteous, and always ready to help. Their positive attitude made us feel appreciated as guests.

We had dinner at the sports bar next to the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The complimentary hot breakfast the next morning was also excellent and gave us a great start before getting back on the road.
