Very short stay met expectations

Not too bad but the issues we had should be dealt with
Pros:

We liked the comfortable bed and pillows. The room configuration. The lovely crisp white sheets. Room had everything we needed.
We went to the restaurant and we can say it was the best steak we have had in a long long time. It was delicious. The sticky date pudding as well. Made us very happy.

Cons:

We didn’t like the bathroom. We thought it had been renovated but the shower head old, when turning on the water the pipes rattled. Bathroom even though it had a rail we felt quite unsafe as very slippery. Towels were not of the same quality as the sheets. Very poor.
On arriving we walked into the room and the first thing we noticed on the bed runner was stains all over it. We took to reception and said so. This wasn’t great as it could have been dried blood or even other liquids we didn’t want to imagine. On another note. We went to the restaurant for dinner, one of the staff waiting on the table had great difficulty in grasping what we were asking for.
