Comfortable Rooms & Friendly Staff
Pros:

We were here for one night while traveling through Colorado. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The fitness room is one of the better ones that I have seen in a hotel. The main road can get busy and loud but that’s to be expected considering the location. It is close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing stay due to poor enforcement of the hotel’s non-smoking policy.

The location and the breakfast was good

Cons:

The entire 4th-floor hallway smelled strongly of cigarettes and weed. I understand there may occasionally be a guest who ignores the hotel’s non-smoking policy and smokes in their room, but I expected the staff to take the issue seriously once I reported it. Instead, I was met with little more than a shrug and a generic, scripted response. It was disappointing to see so little urgency in addressing something that affected the comfort of everyone on the floor.

Pros:

This place has no business hosting teams or groups. We had the worst experience ever the evening of 7/2/26. Our softball team was sitting down eating pizza dinner at the tables in their lobby/bar area. The area is advertised as being open from 5-10, yet it turns out the front desk staff that night decided it needed to be whisper quiet. At 7PM, the front desk staff came over to to give us a "warning" that we had to be quiet. We actually thought they were joking because there was no running around, no party, no music, no noise. Just sitting and chatting while eating pizza. A minute later they came back and threatened to call the cops on us in front of the kids. Then they went outside to the courtyard BBQ area and did the same thing to the team that was socializing there! This scared the daylights out of our kids, so we left. The crazy hotel staff then went around knocking on hotel doors to check if kids were in the room without parents. Never seen that before! It stressed our kids out so bad by daughter begged me now to leave to go to the ice machine because she was scared they would come and find her alone then kick us out or call the cops. We left that hotel and went to the Hilton next door. They are super friendly over there and had no issues with our team hanging out and socializing in their much nicer much more spacious lobby. I'd highly recommend going to the Hilton next door instead of the Hyatt House if you have kids, a team, or any group. Also, worth pointing out, we are part of a travel softball team that has stayed in dozens of hotel rooms. This is the one and only negative review I've ever had to write.
