We liked the location the most. We didn't want to have to drive into Yosemite, and we snagged a tent cabin last-minute. There were showers, free parking (though far), and bear boxes (on the smaller side). We loved the location more than anything.
It was INSANELY crowded here. We could literally hear people breathing 10 feet away from us in the next tent. It's a popular spot, but sooo many people. The parking was also very far to carry bags to and from, unless you got lucky and got a parking spot near the tent cabins. They also wouldn't let you eat in or around the tent cabins (ik bear safety but inconvenient).
Location
Poor pillows. Slippery sheets and "quilt" that kept sliding off bed. Stated wool blankets in description but not what was there. Only one overhead light and no power outlets.
Tents behind wuth large group us had wild and VERY loud party until after midnight. Management did nothing.
Parking is horrible. Took half an hour to get a spot. Lot filled with day trippers when stated as for overnight. No enforcement.
Complained in morning and they offered half cost back but because booked via booking.com they could not refund anything so we left angry.
Could not buy coffee in morning as there sales systems did not work.
Very convenient location.
A little noisy with a few fellow tent dwellers not following simple rules but was fine overall.
Faceva freddissimo, abbiamo chiesto un piumino in più e ce l’hanno fornito senza chiedere un sovrapprezzo (le altre strutture li noleggiano). I bagni erano abbastanza puliti e riscaldati
Faceva molto freddo e le tende non sono riscaldate
The location!
Not the cleanest, but good enough for a tent in a national park
nice comfort
It was unique and memorable but we did not realise it was a bank holiday weekend and spent a lot of time avoiding crowds. I don’t know if there is a limit on the Park numbers but it was very busy
How busy it was. Queues for food etc. wish we had bought our own cold food in
The tent was a pleasant surprise. Spacious and clean.
The staff was very welcoming and nice.
The location is great. It completely changes the experience of visiting the park.
The toilets were not clean most of the time, there is room for more frequent cleaning rounds when the village is full. There are very few dining options and the line for pizza in the evening was so long that we gave up.
Good location
Cleanliness in toilets
You really can't beat the location of staying within Yosemite Valley, waking up to that view was spectacular. The beds were a lot comfier than I had expected and the heater made a huge difference at night when it got chilly.
As you might expect with the amount of people staying at curry village, the shared bathroom and toilets were not great. These should be cleaned much more frequently.
Parking is also a nightmare!
