Rooms, property and upkeep was not good. Spoke to 5 other renters and they all were not happy with the property
The cleaning staff was wonderful! Everyday we had fresh towels, and our garbage was changed. No other place I’ve stayed at has done that!
Also, the front staff was wonderful. Fresh coffee was made daily
Bathroom lighting was horrible
Beds were very uncomfortable. Felt like we were laying on bricks.
Also, pool closed early. Sign said 10, but they got everyone out at 9:10-9:20. One night we were walking on the beach, and they locked the gates to enter the hotel. It was not even 10 yet. We had to find another way in to enter.
The balcony view, the cold rooms, the friendly staff
Good location, beach
The room was in terrible condition, the floor was dirty, your feet stuck to it, the air conditioner was clogged with dust and smelled unpleasant.
Love the place and love the view
The view of the ocean
Nothing
The entire hotel is trashy Including our beds were broke The room was not clean the floors had not been swept or mopped
The friendly staff and that the facility is on the beach with a beach front view
The shortage of parking but it was ok to park across the new street, since the have a walk way now.
Polite and helpful staff. Great pool, hot tub, and tiki bar (although food only 2 days a week…usually just drinks), and wonderful access to the beach. We loved the balcony, as well as a stove, fridge, microwave, dishes, large bathroom, and roll-out couch. Also, convenient location not far from restaurants, bars, and even Pier Park. Very walkable area.
The elevators were the worst — only two for the entire place and they take forever: forever to come, forever to move, and when the doors slowly grind closed (sometimes) you find yourself hoping they will indeed open again when you get to your floor! Since they only put us on the second floor (even though we had requested as high as possible), we often took the stairs in order to avoid the elevators altogether.
The parking lot in front of the hotel is very small, so be prepared to park across the street, adjacent to a half-torn down building or vacant lot. It ended up not being a problem for us, and I’m glad they paid for our parking; but it was a little dark on the sides and I would have been nervous parking there if we had to (many other guests did).
It was annoying also that there was no broom in the unit, and bare floors throughout — so sand came in and was eventually all over. I was glad I brought slippers. The set-up (with the beds right next to the front door, instead of the entry-room and/or kitchen first), felt a little odd and less like a homey condo; but I suppose they can’t change that! It was also weird finding a some previous renter’s clothing pieces in the unit, which had fallen behind the desk/dresser and were never removed.
But overall… we did like the place a lot, and would probably consider staying again.
Location and proximity to the beach. Great view from the balcony.
No exclusive parking for hotel guest. Had to park across the street in a overload lot
All rooms had a balcony
The room layout was great!
Karen was exceptional
No breakfast
Internet was very bad, tv kept going in and out
Only one remote in room and took till next day to get a second one
Hot tub didn’t work properly and I always pick a hotel that has one
Clean, good location and friendly staff
Nothing. It was great
Beach front. Ocean view.
This is my go to spot in Panama city. I've stayed here numerous times and its different now. They don't have breakfast anymore. They close the pools early and the tiki hut is closed early. You have to pay for ice also. The time before last I visited was 4 years ago and it's a major change from then.
I like the view that you have on the beach. It was peaceful. I like that the management keeps you updated on what is going on on the property.
The parking is horrible.. It was my birthday weekend, and we had things and plans restaurants we wanted to go to. But I didn't want to lose our parking spot. They say you can park across the street, but it was full. Need to work on that ,and I thought it was just me, but it was other families saying the same thing they didn't was to leave cause they didn't want to lose their parking spot. And the grass needs cutting going down to the beach. You barely can see the steps it needs some up keeping around that area. The bar would get more business if they had some more entertainment like have some music playing. While the guess sits outside by the pool.
