Great location, room amenities was good.
Elevators would have been nice, but not a dislike.
Can’t beat the location. Right in the center at walking distance from Heavenly Village.
Not much variety in the breakfast buffet.
They have suite room for family and location was great.
It is little old. You can hear noise from upstairs and outside well. Swimming pool is okay but hot tub is old and small
Location, 2 bedroom suite option
Housekeeping mid week - did not remove used towels, clean. They only made bed, added towels, changed trash. Hallway and stairwells smelled of mold. Property is more dated in person than appears online. Room above us was extremely loud into the late hours and no phone in room to contact front desk quickly.
La limpieza y la ubicación.
Nos quedamos varios y no hubo variedad en el desayuno.
Convenience and amenities for the kids
Beds were terrible.
Appreciated the firepit and s’mores night. Brought the family out for a night swim and got to enjoy the games and fire too.
Love the full kitchens in the rooms. Pull out couch was actually really comfy but had to sleep upside down. Got really good sleep though and it was hard to get up in the morning!
It really smells in the hallways like just old moldy rustic. Maybe put in automatic air fresheners that go off on a timer?
Air conditioner was on great in the game room during the afternoon and then put on hold in the game room later in the evening was it was even hotter. It was miserable up there.
Also had some trouble with our AC in our room going in and out and not always working. Had to be turned off and left off for 20 minutes just for it to work again and cool the room back off. So it was a constant fight with it being too hot and then too cold with no way to manage it.
It’s noted that there are drinks and snacks available at the front desk but we went there just to buy water and they said they don’t do that there and the closest place was a convenience store.
Fantastic hosts who stayed in touch all the time, beautiful apartment, spotless clean, excellently furnished and equipped
Apart from the capital it’s quite a stretch to walk to other tourist attractions and restaurants
The room was spacious and nice. The location was quiet and woodsy yet near restaurants and walking areas.
Following are some opportunities for improvement:
We appreciated the breakfast and I would suggest adding fresh made oatmeal (not packets) with walnuts, dried cranberries, raisins, and almonds for toppings. The coffee was weak and lacked flavor. Recommend improving the coffee blend and more precise preparation.
We appreciated with happy hour but were disappointed that the snacks did not include the cheese and crackers pictured on the hotel's online marketing. It would be nice to include a local draft beer as an alternative to wine. Perhaps limit 2 drinks per person.
The people in the room above us were very loud and their noise, which sounded like moving heavy furniture and loud heavy footsteps woke us up at 2 am. There should be signage describing quiet hours after 10 pm in the rooms and hallways.
Housekeeping should wait to knock on doors after guests depart rather than before 8:30am on departure day.
The pull-out sofa bed should be pre-prepared with the sheets and blankets on.
We were only given towels for 2 people even though we paid for 3 people and were in a quadruple room.
good location and good people
not enough remodelations
almost every thing is old
Breakfast was good, and had plentiful choices. Pool was clean and warm. Requesting a BBQ was easy and the process to use was simple. Our group enjoyed the accommodations and I appreciated the effort put into making sure our groups rooms were close together. Laundry facilities were clean and well priced. STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!
Having a small side table at the BBQ would have been very useful. And maybe if amenities were pointed out upon check in I would not have called as much.
Location was great and near Heavenly Village. Pool and spa was great. It was a little small but people came and went so it didn't feel overwhelming. Front desk was nice and breakfast was different each day. Within walking distance to a lot of places. Target is across the street and the Tahoe center was only a 2 min drive
Beds did not have edge support. Felt like I was going to fall off. We had a room that faced maintenance area so at night the flood lights came into our room. We had to put extra sheets and windows coverings up to block out light at night. Floor creak so you hear everything above you and anytime someone walked around. Also could hear the bathroom fan next door. Not a big deal since everyone sleeps at night but one night we had to go to bed early since were needed to get up and pur neighbors had their bathroom fan on until midnight.
I would suggest putting up a privacy screen or a thick bush for the rooms that face maintenance area. I rather look at a bush then have a flood light come in. Seriously it was so bad that we couldn't tell the difference between morning or night.

My AC KEPT BREAKING DOWN was hot in the room
The staff was amazing. The grounds were clean and the breakfast was good.
The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. We had one of the doorknobs, lock, an adult in a bathroom, and had to have maintenance come change the door handle. The beds felt like sleeping on air mattresses, and the room itself was visibly dirty... walls, baseboards and cobwebs around all of the lights. If it had not cost over $300 a night, I might have overlooked these things, but for that kind of money that level of dirt is unacceptable. We will NOT stay here again.
