Beautiful and friendly staff
No WiFi included which is insane for the amount of money you spend here for a room. Nothing special about the hotel other than location. Overpriced

Staff
My wife and I went to Hilton America’s in Houston to celebrate my 75th birthday. Everything was first class from start to finish!! It’s not a stretch, but I can put this at the top of my list for staying at Hotels worldwide. We are diamond members. We very much enjoy the Hilton chain.
I made a reservation and chatted with Antonio at the front desk. Excellent attitude and customer focused and professional. He got me a beautiful room on the executive floor.
When we checked in yesterday, I met Brenda of the R 24 team. Brenda was a ray of sunshine at the hotel. This morning when we went to breakfast at the executive lounge, Brenda was working there and was smiling and was as helpful as possible. She brought us in and showed us around and again was very helpful.
The facilities were fantastic, especially all of the staff who were super friendly, and helpful. Before dinner out, we visited the lobby bar, Mark was the bartender and made beautiful drinks and offered us hors d’oeuvres on the house. Thank you to the Hilton R24 team and Hilton America’s.
Everyone knows it is expensive and sometimes stressful to stay in a hotel along with the other things that go with it. It was very obvious to us that Hilton and all of the employees were there and made it very worthwhile and took excellent care of us.
Sorry if this review was bubbly, but everything was perfect and it doesn’t always go that way.
Thank you
I was debating between 5 and 4 as it’s more a 4.5 but the stellar service convinced me to round up instead of down.
I love the convenience to convention center but also love the availability of onsite dining options! As I noted, service is stellar at every corner, from breakfast, check in desk, bell staff, to even the attentiveness of staff who I run into with my many ‘where is this or that’ questions.
The rooms are a bit dated and I saw a little bit of rust stains in bathroom but overall still in good condition. It’s definitely clean!
Thank you for the slippers!!! If you’re ever wondering why you should still provide slippers, well germaphobes like me do not want our bare feet to touch the floors!! I expect this from nice establishments but I carry my own since too many don’t provide slippers.
I’d return and I’d pick Hilton over the other adjacent hotel which I stayed at last year.

Convenient location to the GRB
Didn’t realize how loud it would be by Discovery Green; motorcycles racing.
Location. Toyota Center was steps away from the hotel. Also walking distance to restaurants and bars.
Location!
I was part of a group of people participating in a Robotics competition who filled up the hotel this past week. I had an issue with some refrigerated medication that I needed to keep at a certain temperature, and was referred to the food and beverage manager, Efrain. He was pleasant, helpful, and definitely went over and above. He checked the temperature of their refrigerators and allow me to put my medication in one that was at the proper temperature. He also gave me his cell phone number and I was able to contact him easily whenever I needed my medication or to return it-and he always responded quickly. Eventually, he lent me a thermometer and informed me of what setting to keep my room fridge at. On my last evening at the hotel, I brought my group up to the 24th floor bar and he asked the bartender to treat me to a glass of wine.
Besides my experience with my medication, the hotel was clean and accommodating, and our group had a very pleasant stay. If you’re in Houston it is a good option with extremely accommodating staff – besides Efrain, there were a few other interactions that were very pleasant and helpful. They had plenty of places for our group to set up our food and enjoy a meal together, and we also rented a conference room for our robotics field set up. Everything was fantastic!
