I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai Nanjing Road. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location. Nanjing Road is just a short walk away, so there’s no need to take a taxi to enjoy one of Shanghai’s most famous shopping streets. The area is full of shopping malls, restaurants, massage centers, convenience stores, and everything you might need during your stay.
For Muslim travelers, the location is especially convenient, as there are several Arabic and halal restaurants nearby, making it easy to find suitable dining options.
The room was clean and comfortable, but it was a little small, especially if you’re traveling with several large suitcases. Another thing I didn’t like was the bathroom design. It has an open-concept layout, which doesn’t offer much privacy. I personally think a fully enclosed bathroom would be much more comfortable, especially when sharing the room with someone else.

The staff were all very warm and friendly, especially Ella, who accommodated us during check in after a red eye flight. She made sure we were comfortable and assisted us with an earlier check in. Mia also helped us with a late check out since we had a really late flight. The staff often helped us with our parcels, and were all super warm.
The location is amazing, right outside nanjing lu, and they had robots to deliver your food delivery every night. I would love to stay here again the next time i'm back in Shanghai!
Honestly nothing at all. The hotel was well organised, clean and had very friendly staff. I wished I had more time in this hotel!
