The property has basic rooms but overall comfortable and 9/10 times you sleep very well!
Has a nice bar across the way and offer a nice cooked breakfast at cost.. but its very good
Some times guest can be extremely noisy in the night you cant contact any one for help as they close the main reception

It was really too basic and needed updating badly
The lady on reception was amazing she did everything from booking in serving food and behind the bar, she was very friendly too 😊
The fact it used to be some accommodation for old/disabled people, I walked into the room and thought it's nice and looks comfortable, checked out the bathroom and saw a bath😊 then I had a closer look and realised it was for dwarfs 🤣
I just needed a bed for the night and it was the cheapest place I could find that looked reasonable. Bed was very comfy and facilities were fine. Also had coffee and stuff in the room which I always appreciate. The staff were also really friendly and keen to help.
The walls are paper thin and I could hear someone having a hookup a couple of rooms away then after I could hear a family with loads of kids screaming from about 6am. This didn’t help my hangover. But it didn’t take away from the place being what it’s there for. It’s a hotel so I don’t expect absolute silence.
The price over budget and room need sorted. Have me pain the back for two day.

Clean room
Simply the breakfast.
The room was very poor! Hairdryer sounded like it was gonna blow up,the bath had a big crack in which was rusty.
In need of a renovation Badly.
I wanted a cheap hotel for one night, Kiln fit my requirement and the room was clean and tidy with coffee facilities and everything you would find in a more expensive hotel. The bed was comfy, although a little soft for my taste but I slept well and that is what matters!
A lift to the upper floors would be good. I appreciate that is impractical due to the layout but that would be the only improvement I feel would be needed
