Room was functional and I have returned as the desk area allows me to work in the evening. Also as a smoker, i don't need to hike to far to a respectful smoking point. Plenty of decent well lit parking.
Bed was uncomfortable and the whole place is very tiered. Inconsiderate weed smoker made large section of the exterior absolutely stink, this is not the first time. Greater CCTV coverage of the carpark would have been nice as well as some EV charging opportunities.
Nothing
Where to start with this place. The interior is like a chalet from a 1960s holiday park. The carpets matched and were filthy, visibly stained and coming away in places.
Cobwebs and all over the wooden beading that surrounds the roof. I didn’t sleep all night as I could literally feel my skin crawling in the bed as there were definitely bed bugs or some kind of mite or flea I’m not sure but my skin was itching all night and I woke up with visible red dots on my body.
I eventually gave up on trying to sleep and left the hotel at 5am.
Horrendous place, I was going to stay somewhere else where I have stayed before which was half the price of the Kiln Hotel and better but in the end I booked it as it was a little closer to work, now I wish I hadn’t as I have to function all day with near to zero sleep. I have stayed in 100s of hotels all over the world and this is by far the worst.
Good location friendly staff even when I arrived late after check in time. Great staff all round lady who cooked a delicious breakfast and organised
Personal touch in the room complimentary shower soap good. Needed a charger none there would just add an extra touch having cotton buds and face pads etc great for price

Nothing
Basic but good value for money, and the staff were really friendly.
Little dated,. In desperate need or upgrade
The wifi signal was good and the bed was quiet comfortable.
The room was very unclean, there where loads of dead flies on the desk and there where squashed ones on the curtains. The shower head looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a long time. The curtian on the window was broken and hanging down.

Everything
Everything
There was nothing to like about the property but the reception area was up to date and clean
It was very run down and poorly maintained and dull tv but no where to plug it into curtains wrapped and badly stained carpets
The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly
I got a parking ticket. I gave my registration to reception and assumed this was to allow parking. I was never told that I needed to pay extra or do anything else. Giving your reg is standard practice at Travelodge etc for these purposes. I have tried to contact the hotel since unsuccessfully. No one answered the phone or replied to my messages. It cost me and extra £95 thereby changing thos from a good budget experience into an extremely expensive one.
The environment was very noisy at night and a fire alarm went off at 1.30am. Reception staff were not aware that had happened which is worrying!
Clean, friendly staff. Comfy bed, great value for money
Rooms tired
So easy, staff great, room clean and great location
