Recommend to avoid for most travelers.
Pros:

The atrium pool was cool like at all sandman hotels.

Cons:

This place is falling apart. Moldy/mildew smell literally everywhere. Slapdash paint jobs and half assed repairs on every door, corner, wall etc. Next to no ramp access beyond the lobby so my wife and I needed to either lift the baby stroller up and down stairs or walk/drive around the whole building to check in and go to breakfast. Breakfast is behind a locked door and had very little attention paid to it. Staff appears to be running on a shoe string budget with the front desk manager also doing breakfast duties. Refused to give me an invoice in departure claiming I works get that from booking.com which is not true. No doubt this place will go out of business soon.

Although it was comfortable, the hotel looks depressing.
Pros:

The room was big and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. The lobby is nice.

Cons:

The hotel is outdated and not properly maintained. The pool area is uninviting, dark and looks dirty.

Disappointing
Pros:

Front desk staff were great

Cons:

Pump was broken so no pool. Then no laundry. Breakfast items were slow to be replenished, including coffee. Shower was ridiculous, a little button to control water temperature, had to call desk to ask how to use it.

The location was good

Cons:

The room was very dirty., especially the carpet. All the hallways and stairs were also dirty and didn't seem vacuumed for a while. Our room was above a smoking area and they were there all night. We must have been close to the laundry since there was mechanical sounds all night. The breakfast was minimal. No meat or fruit. They ran out of muffins. The staff were pleasant.

Location was great. Bathroom was renovated. Staff was friendly.

Cons:

Halls were old, musty smelling and dingy. Not sure if the pool or hot tub had any chemicals in them....they were kind of green and slimy.
