Coconut Court Beach Hotel

We have just returned from the fabulous Coconut Court. Such a lovely hotel staff are so friendly and so helpful. Rooms are super clean, breakfast at Cocos with lovely staff. The lovely lady in gift shop. The only problem was Jake’s there was seven of us we had to return undercooked food and service was not good. One evening we waited nearly an hour for drinks. We will be returning and it would be lovely if Cocos or Charlie’s would open in evening. Thank you Coconut Court you should be very proud of yourselves.

We have been to Coconut Court several times, and will return again .
The staff is always very welcoming and accommodating.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the view breathtaking.
Keep in mind there are no elevators, but first floor rooms are available.
We went in the slow season so Coco's restaurant was opened for breakfast and lunch but closed for dinner. Jake's right across the street was available for dinner and part of the all inclusive package. If not on the all inclusive packable the dinner prices were reasonable. The hotel bars also close early, so not much night life.

There are many restaurants and a grocery stores just minutes away via taxi or busses. The taxi ride from the airport was roughly 20/30 minutes, cost $35 US dollars. There is also a little store across the street from the hotel. They have beer, soda, wine , snacks, limited medicines and in the AM meat pies (yum).
We have been to Barbados many, many times and have never been disappointed.
So you know, given the time of year and mother nature you may run into massive amounts of seaweed washed up on the beach. Keep in mind the hotel has no control over this. We had one day of terrible seaweed and it was gone the next day. So be patient.
I recommend using "Fast Track" for the airport arrival available through Trip Advisor. Well worth the cost.
Overall the island is safe and welcoming and totally worth a visit.

The staff were great special thankyou to the girls that welcomed us I’m so sorry I didn’t take your names but we arrived on the 1st of August Saturday afternoon around 16:30 so all the girls at the desk that day and time top tier staff so friendly such a great welcome!! It was the best boost after an 8hour flight to see their smiles and there kindness for us! Our Kadooment costumes were dropped off and they kindly called us and kept it at the desk just in general the whole team was lovely throughout our stay! Always helpful when we asked questions. We will be back!

Location by sea

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The beachfront room view was stunning, and the beach itself was great. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout my visit. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our visit to Coconut Court! This is a great option for families and folks looking for an affordable vacation spot. The superior ocean view rooms are very comfortable and generally well kept. If you have kids, strollers, mobility devices, or lots of luggage, be warned that there is no elevator to access the upper floor rooms. You will also need to negotiate stairs to access the pool and beach restaurant. The beach is beautiful and the water is lovely and warm. A few mins walk west down the shore there is also a beautiful little clear shallow bay (adjacent to a neighbouring 4 star resort, but the beaches are for everyone!). A short walk east is the Rockley beach boardwalk. Food at Coconut Court is decent but not spectacular. There are lots of fast food and fine dining restaurants around. There is parking at Coconut Court if you rent a car. Definitely will return — thank you to the lovely staff, especially manager Sophia!

Beautiful place

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. Stayed two weeks celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. The room was big, clean and nice. Beds are comfortable and nice to have a fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and kettle. We stayed in room 96, with our own patio and it was right at the end so no one walked past us. All the staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating.
We had a candle light dinner at the beach, the food was amazing and it was so romantic!
The beach has soft white sand. Some stones to get past when you get in but they aren't sharp. There is a small reef just outside with lots of fish to look at while snorkling. We saw both a turtle and a ray.
Only thing I can say is that it is not suitable for smaller children as it is a bit steep to get down to the water and then it's up to your waist fairly quickly. Older children had no problem with what we saw.
The pool is nice and deep, but hardly ever used it as the beach is right there
The breakfast menu has a wide variety of choices to order from.
And Captain Charlies offers a nice lunch menu and good drinks.
Lots of beach chairs both on the beach and by the pool.
Your room is cleaned every day which we appreciated as we kept dragging lots of sand with us inside despite rinsing our feet.
There is a bus stop right outside the gates and so easy to go into Bridgetown or anywhere else you want to go.
The Boardwalk is just a short distance to the west you can easily go along the beach to reach it, although you might have to take your shoes off at high tide.
There are several restaurants within walking distance, within 2km. Both fast food and nice dining. We often walked the boardwalk to get to them.
We can really recommend this amazing place and if we ever come back to Barbados we are definitely booking this place again.

Good staff, good food , excellent service, some of the friendliest folks that we have had the pleasure of being around in a long time

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel in April after cruising for a week. The hotel is in a great location on a lovely beach with plenty of shade from trees. On arrival we were greeted by lovely staff at reception and we were given a token to have a free drink which we used in Charlie’s bar which is just off the beach. We stayed in an ocean view room which was large, clean and comfortable. Food was excellent in both Charlie’s bar Coco’s and Jake’s across the road from hotel. Breakfast was served in Coco’s overlooking the beach which was absolutely stunning. They held entertainment at lunchtime on some days in Charlie’s bar and also at Coco’s in the evening. This hotel is in an ideal location to eating and drinking places. A local bus runs outside the hotel that goes from Bridgetown to Ostins through out the day. They’re a must to experience!! We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but I have to say this hotel has to be the friendliest place we’ve ever been. We just felt every member of staff wanted our custom. We were always greeted with a friendly smile. You can tell it’s a family run hotel. At the end of our week we felt relaxed and didn’t want to leave. To sum it up if you want a clean, friendly safe hotel in an ideal location, this is the place to be. I say safe because there was security at the entrance of carpark and down on the beach. If I was to come back to Barbados I would definitely look into booking here again. Thank you Coconut Court for the best relaxing holiday my husband and I have ever had.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coconut Court Beach Hotel! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everyone made us feel so welcome and at home.

The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, but we’d especially like to give a huge shout-out to Amanda, Miss Kim, and the best security officer ever, Mr. Jones. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our vacation even more memorable. They always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

The beautiful beach, relaxing pool, delicious breakfast, and warm Bajan hospitality made this a trip we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to return to our little slice of paradise.

Great location,lovely atmosphere,we stayed in the annex 1 bed apartment which was well equipped for all our needs. As always our stay is as cheap or expensive as we choose depending on what we do. Hotel is very clean and tidy. We were told before our arrival to expect some noise as renovations were happening this was minimal and didn’t affect us as we were out during the day. There are activities to book if you wish. The resteraunts coco’s ,Charlie’s bar and jake’s across the road offer good variety on the menu. This was our 10th time on the island and 2nd at this hotel tbh I don’t think I’d choose any other hotel for my future visits as this offers all we need to enjoy our stays. I’m looking forward to returning next year and seeing the lovely staff that are always ready to greet us

Lovely hotel in a great location. Walking distance to the boardwalk with lots of lovely restaurants. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and accommodating.
