It was a fabulous birthday trip!
Pros:

The breakfast was good..our waiter was excellent..very friendly..the hotel manager was very nice..concierge man was very helpful and sweet

Cons:

The lady who checked us in didn't give us breakfast voucher or explain how it was only good for 1 particular selection..she was veey nice but it made for confusing first breakfast..the manager fixed it after the fact..she also didn't ask if I was a member for the points or to get free water

The location of the hotel was great.

Cons:

The facilities were old, the pull out sofa bed mattress was thin and uncomfortable and housekeeping never came to refresh the towels or the room.

Good location if you want to be near Northside
Pros:

Location. Big beds (we got the 2 queens)
Multiple lights, sockets; enough space for 3 people
Large toilet and bath

Cons:

One check in staff was not so accommodating. I was in front of him and he didn’t explain what we were doing with our bags if we came early. Left us there to figure out that the other person (concierge) were to get them. Just told us we were early.
Whilst in front of the counter, he was typing in some other things. Attention was not with the guest at all.
