Pros:

Location, breakfast, the room.

Cons:

They tried to pin us with a fake receipt for a really expensive dinner we didn't attend. We checked in on Thursday around 19.30, and the receipt was issued at 20.00 with a fake signature and a bad spelling of my surname. No one knew our personal information in that period but the receptionist and the bartender at the bar.

The staff at their ground bar and rooftop bar is overall arrogant.

Pros:

The breakfast was great, and the view from the rooftop terrace is phenomenal. The rooms are also very spacious.

Cons:

The pool was very small, and there were major construction works taking place in the square in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, the windows provided very little sound insulation, making it feel as though I was sleeping with the window open.

A disappointing stay that didn’t live up to the Nobu name or the premium price tag.
Pros:

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The views from the room were pleasant and the hotel has a modern aesthetic.

Cons:

For approximately €500 per night, the experience fell well below expectations.

The room was relatively small and felt basic for a luxury hotel. The furniture was looking tired and in need of refurbishment. There was no iron, only a steamer, and the hairdryer was a basic foldable travel model.

There was no turndown service and no body lotion provided in the bathroom. The rooftop pool was much smaller than expected and is barely larger than a jacuzzi. Service was polite but lacked warmth and attentiveness.

The location is also some distance from Barcelona’s main attractions. Overall, it did not feel like a true five-star experience and seemed expensive for what was offered.

When we checked out in the morning we heard the gentleman say I don’t want to deal with Asians he didn’t realise we were sitting there and I am Asian we felt really uncomfortable
