Quick work trip hotel is in a good location for what we needed.
Pros:

Room was fine, location is good bathroom was clean and spacious

Cons:

Change of carpark provider and location, we chose to pay more and use previous car park as the location is closer and more convenient to get luggage to and from hotel, not having to walk down Rundle Street.

Pros:

Rooms was clean and quite with a comfortable bed

Cons:

Reception staff wasn't that friendly and helpful and inviting
You have to park your car 100 metres from location
And still waiting for My $100 deposit to be returned which I didn't knew I had to pay

Our third stay and it never disappoints, wonderful staff, fantastic location and beautiful ambience

It's our third time staying at this property and as always, excellent customer service from the front reception to the staff we meet in the lobby and lift. Love the location and the ambience of this hotel.

Big rooms, comfortable, good location, but noisy on first-floor corner
Pros:

Nice big rooms, good facilities, clean, good spa bath, good location

Cons:

Asked for a quiet room on an upper level, but told hotel was full. Given a first-floor corner room to two busiy streets. Staff member said it would be quiet but it wasn't - balcony door didn't shut so traffic noise was very clear. We stayed for several days, so it was disappointing. Didn't ask to move because felt it wouldn't be welcomed. Do booking.com customers get put in less good rooms? I've read it happens quite a lot.

Fantastic location, but room design could have been much improved for little extra cost
Pros:

Great location, looked modern

Cons:

Looks were a bit deceiving, not well designed, no power points next to the bed until you pull the bed away from the wall and find one in the middle of the bed, limited other power points. No usb charging points, ice bucket as a bin, filling a kettle is difficult

Wouldn’t rush to return. When I told the staff about the running shower there was no real apology or apparent concern.

Great location, clean and comfortable large suites, great for a few days attending a conference.
Pros:

Spacious suite at rear of building with no real view but therefore very quiet. Comfortable and well appointed, clean and serviced daily. Some of the furniture a little dated and worn but still functional. Breakfast was included in my booking and options provided were good and well sized. Staff were excellent. Check-in/out was smooth.

Cons:

Configuration of bathroom OK if your head and shower screen like to be close proximity when using the toilet, maybe just because I am tall. The desk/table in my room had very wobbly legs. I stayed midweek and the roof garden bar and restaurant were not open in the evenings, despite the block booking for a conference I attended and most delegates appearing to stay there. Thankfully there are many nearby eating options.

Cons:

Rooftop terrace not open to anyone in hotel as booked for a private function. For a hotel with the name Majestic Rooftop Garden, that's kind of disappointing. Also took nearly 4 weeks to return a security deposit that was equal to the stay cost. Fire alarm activation at midnight meant the whole hotel had to evacuate, which is fine, but it was poorly supported by staff, no clear communication of the location of the evacuation zone. Many very tired people, some very elderly were left spilling out onto the footpath and road, which caused a number of near misses with delivery cycles and cars. Staff stayed together inside behind the counter and didnt seem to know what to do, letting people back up the stairs which the fire fighters then had to say it wasn't possible. A very poorly organised evacuation and needs review.
