COMO Metropolitan Bangkok

We loved our stay at COMO Metropolitan Bangkok. The hotel felt calm, luxurious and peaceful, with friendly, competent staff and a great location for getting around Bangkok.

Our Courtyard Suite was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was a lovely retreat after busy days in the city. We did not dine at Nahm, but enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and poolside snacks, both of which were very good.

The spa facial treatment was also very nice. A special mention goes to the concierge team, who arranged a fantastic private guided day trip to Maeklong Railway Market and the old and new weekend floating markets, including a dedicated van and private longtail boat.

Overall, COMO was peaceful, well run, comfortable and beautifully suited to our Bangkok stay. We would happily return.

I have just checked out of COMO Metropolitan Bangkok after my fourth visit over the past two months, and I truly consider it my heartfelt base whenever I return to Bangkok. The high standards remain consistently the same, as I’ve shared in previous reviews.

The incredible hospitality continues to be one of COMO’s strongest and most heartfelt qualities, and it is felt throughout the entire property. From the spa facilities and attentive pool attendants, to the spotless rooms, to the soothing interior design of the lobby—where the concierge, bellmen, and the amazing, kind staff behind the counters are always so gracious—the atmosphere seems to draw you in, whether you are arriving after traveling from somewhere else or simply returning from an outing in Bangkok.

A special mention also goes to the wonderful breakfast crew, who make each morning feel warm and welcoming, along with a truly “made in heaven” breakfast spread that is beautifully presented and deeply enjoyed.

There is a calm, refined comfort here that makes each stay feel familiar, elegant, and deeply appreciated.

I truly look forward to my next visit in just one week, before returning home to lovely Santa Barbara.

Beautiful accommodations
Staff was amazing

Lo que más me gusta de COMO, es que tiene este ambiente de boutique hotel (alejandose de los grandes hoteles) y el servicio de su personal es mucho más cercano que otros hoteles de grandes cadenas de 5 estrellas.
La decoración y el buen gusto de cada estancia e item es un plus

A lovely modern hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Fabulous rooms that are massive. Big comfy bed with a massive seating area. The bathroom is bigger than my student flat! Staff were amazing with nothing being too much trouble. Pool is brilliant and staff very attentive.

The only downside for me was we didn’t know they had a bar and never found it! The pool was great for those on business or couples but the children were asked not to splash and keep quiet so for this reason I wouldn’t return as a family. But as a couple, I’d be straight back.

My home away from home in Bangkok for well over 20 years! My second favorite hotel in the world (topped only by (Hotel) The Mercer in NYC, and that's truly as high as the stakes go!). Incredibly friendly staff; spacious, beautiful, very chill environment throughout; calm, inviting, stylish yet up-to-date, recently renovated (large!) rooms; and a spa that can compete with the world's top. If it's a short visit in Bangkok, I barely leave the hotel and just lap in the luxury. A hidden gem! 💎

This hotel has been a longtime favourite. First stayed here in 2004 and have returned many times over the years. It's an oasis of calm in the big city and everything about it feels soothing and easy. Staff are all fantastic. They're friendly and fun and also seem to be able to anticipate your needs before you even ask. Really love the recent refurb of the rooms. We were very grateful to be upgraded to a Metropolitan room. Breakfast was excellent and the large pool is an extra reason why you'll be unhappy to check out. Highly recommended!

Love the breakfast, pool, spa and excellence of staff.

We stayed there for 4 nights last month. Very nice and beautiful hotel, very convenient location, we always walked to MRT to catch the train during rush hours to avoid traffic. The staff there is very friendly especially the doorman who was always there to open the door for us. We couldn’t use the pool as the water was a bit too cold and we wish the pool was heated pool, so we could enjoy sometimes.

We are great fans of the Como brand and so for us this was an easy decision to stay here. It lives up to all the high standards of Como - in particular the staff are all wonderful; so attentive and helpful. Thank you
Pool, considering you are in the middle of Bangkok is extraordinary! Does not get a lot of sun so on cooler mornings and evenings it is quite chilly; but in hotter weather I’m sure a much a needed relief. Spa all up to usual Como standards. Excellent treatments.
We had a room with an outside terrace - slightly strange as completely surrounded and no views or much light - but again I guess are in the middle of Bangkok so space at a premium. It was a very generously sized room
Only real negative was only place to eat was the Michelin starred Nahm (which was excellent) but would have been nice to have an informal place too. Breakfast, which was excellent, is in a slightly sad internal space. Hence why knocked off one star.
Lovely touch as we had an early departure was a breakfast box! Much appreciated in the airport
