Very comfortable rooms,beds and pillows. Amazingly quiet given how busy the hotel was. Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff.
The sinks in the bathrooms are very impracticle. No plugs, very little depth, difficult to fill the in room kettle
Bien placé dans Édimbourg. Etablissement très standard, correct, qui répond au besoin de dormir au centre ville. Propre et calme.
Personnel d'accueil trop peu disponible, avec longue file d'attente. Et nécessité de faire la queue à l'accueil pour avoir accès à la piscine. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais sans plus.

We absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
The heating and air-conditioning system in our room did not work properly. Every time we switched it on, the electricity in the room went out completely. As a result, we were left in a freezing-cold room and were unable to maintain a safe and comfortable temperature.
We were staying with our child, who became extremely cold during the night and subsequently fell ill. This was not a minor inconvenience; it was a serious maintenance and safety failure that made our stay extremely distressing.
A hotel should never provide guests—especially families with children—with a room where the climate-control system cannot be used without causing a power failure. The situation was completely unacceptable and ruined our stay.
We are extremely disappointed and will not stay here again. We strongly advise families, particularly those travelling with children, to avoid this hotel.
Ubicación bien. Hay que andar unos 10 minutos a la parte monumental ( Royal Mile)
Servicio: la limpieza d ehabitaciones nos falló un día, no hicoeron la cama. El día que llegamos como llegamos un poco antes de las 15.00 no s hicieron esperar hasta las 15.00 en punto para "comprobar" si ya estaba la habitación, la recepcionista no llamó para preguntar si podían agilizarlo o alomejor ya estaba preparada. PAgamos una ocupación de 3 personas ( ibamos con niño) y no estaba hecha la cama para el niño cuando llegamos , ni había toallas ni servicios para 3. Un detalle negativo por el precio que pagas.
El desayuno se repite exactamente igual todos los días, aunque tiene buena calidad y es variado, pero al cabo de 7 días, podrían variar, las frutas, los dulces o algo.
la piscina está...pero es pequeñita hay que rellenar un formulario para bajar.

Quite expensive for a 4 star hotel but guess this is because of the Fringe Festival and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo taking place so the demand was high

The staff on reception were very rude and abrupt, not approachable at all. Very reluctant to help when asked for anything
The hotel exceeded my expectations, It was clean, it was comfortable, and it was a perfect location in the centre of Edinburgh. The breakfast was excellent, more variety of food than usual compared to other hotels - it was a good surprise. And the staff was very friendly and helpful!
