Hotel Posa Posa is in a great location just above all the hustle of the main square. It took about 15 to walk down to the main beach. There are many great restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. The staff were so kind and welcoming and helpful. Especially the restaurant/bar staff who worked tirelessly all day. The pool and lounge area was a nice retreat with a great view.
We absolutely loved our seat here. A big part of that was the staff and specifically Guilio. He went above and beyond for us. We really appreciate him working out us to eat breakfast with our schedule and for all his help and he is so kind and pleasant to be around. The other staff was a great too and we loved loved loved eating breakfast on the beautiful terrace every morning. Unlimited lattes yes please! The staff made us feel very welcomed. The hotel is far up, but that’s how you get a great view! The views were great from the room, restaurant and pool level. Made for great pics! We would love to come back and stay here again.
If I had to pick something it would be the tub is a little old and the way the drain is set up is it comes out of the floor and gets the bathroom floor wet, but we just put towels down. The water also didn’t get as hot as I would like for a bath, but it was still hot enough to enjoy a bath. None of this would stop us from staying again.
Beautiful property. Loved the terrace on the 4th floor & the pool on the 6th floor. The staff were amazing and the daily breakfasts had a lot of choices/selections.
The views are good but a lot of walking for the city Centre/ grande beach.
Very very old.. this hotel needs good renovation, we didn’t like the breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Posa Posa (May 7-11) was unforgettable, completely defined by the incredible staff. The reception team—Maria, Giulio, and Gennaro—went above and beyond. They gave us the absolute best local restaurant recommendations and shared wonderful, warm conversations about the area. Instead of a hotel, they made us feel like we were visiting friends.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Antonio, our fantastic waiter, for his excellent service and attentive care during our meals.
We stayed in room 606, which featured an outstanding balcony and breathtaking views of Positano.
This level of genuine love for hospitality cannot be taught. Thank you to the whole team for making our trip so special. We cannot wait to return!
