Beautiful hotel, cozy atmosphere, and very attentive staff
Pros:

The hotel looks amazing and has this super cozy vi e. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I really loved it.

Pros:

Great location in a quiet spot of the city but close enough to the centre. Breakfast had a lot of great choice
I liked the charm and style of the bedrooms

Cons:

Beds on the top floor weren’t the most comfortable, we had to ask for housekeeping and they didn’t do a great job with cleaning the room. Seems short staffed

Cons:

Les travaux dans la rue non précisés lors de la réservation.
La chambre au rez-de-chaussée avec des vis à vis de tous les côtés.
Mauvaise insonorisation.
La facturation d'un sachet de tisane pour un usage en chambre : vu le standing de l'hôtel, c'est pour nous une énorme indélicatesse.

La posizione e' perfetta, consente di raggiungere il centro in meno di 10 minuti a piedi. La camera tripla era ampia e silenziosa e con un bagno molto grande. La colazione e' abbondantissima, con la piu' ampia scelta di dolce e salato. Un soggiorno meraviglioso.

Mostly excellent
Pros:

Very nice hotel. Staff was wonderful. Breakfasts excellent. Very helpful in suggesting places to see, to eat, to have drinks. Lovely old building right on a canal.

Cons:

Bathtub only, no shower.

Overall, a great stay and worth 4 stars.
Pros:

Great spacious rooms in a beautiful historic building with excellent amenities. Quiet location, yet only a 7–10 minute walk to the city centre. Breakfast was extensive, and the staff were very welcoming. Loved the cookies and chocolates on arrival and departure. Small but sufficient fitness area for a short stay.

Cons:

The only downsides were the lack of nearby parking, no swimming pool, and the broken bathtub floor which was uncomfortable.
