Lovely hotel and staff but avoid room 110
Pros:

Great location. Great helpful staff.

Cons:

We were given a canal view room which was very small, compensated by a separate large sitting room which was next door but not accessed directly which meant making sure you always had the key with you as you could be locked out of either room. Rather inconvenient. We were given fruit and a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival but felt suspicious that this was to deflect from the awkwardness of the arrangement of rooms.

Luxurious comfort on a quiet canal makes this a great spot
Pros:

Absolutely the comfiest bed- I slept better than ever in the dense cloud of a mattress, silky soft linens and deep quiet. The bathroom was also fantastic with amazing water pressure, 3 different shower settings, and good amenities. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There was a lovely basket of fruit awaiting me in my room at check in. Breakfast was a good deal with plenty of choices. I always stay in Cannaregio- it has everything you need without the hoards of tourists, but still close enough to experience this magical city by foot or boat.

Cons:

Due to the film festival, it was rather expensive this week. The rugs in the hallways to the rooms on the ground floor could be replaced- they’re very worn. And some art? These halls are a little sad. There are a lot of rooms on the ground floor with no views- but who needs to spend time in your hotel room while in Venice?

Die Lage ist ruhig und doch zentral. Das Personal ist besonders zuvorkommend. Meiner Frau wurde zum Geburtstag gratuliert und im Zimmer war ein Obstkorb und eine Flasche Posecco.

Truly spectacular accommodation loved every minute. Will be back!

It’s amazing friendly and more than helpful staff. It was so clean and inviting with charming. Love the location so handy to water taxis,ferry’s and the 15min walk to the train station.
