Very clean and welcoming
Some staff wernt very friendly
First, I want to say that most of the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, that was one of the few positive parts of my stay.
Before checking in, we ordered food from the restaurant and ate there. The young woman working there was not very friendly, which wasn’t a great first impression.
Check-in went smoothly, and our room was what we had paid for. However, after returning to the hotel around 2:30 a.m., we were abruptly awakened by the fire alarm. Being startled awake by a hotel fire alarm was terrifying. Once I realized what was happening, I left the room and tried to make my way downstairs, but there was confusion about where everyone was supposed to go. After standing outside and waiting, we were eventually told it was a false alarm caused by someone smoking and that we could return to our rooms.
By then, we were completely awake and couldn’t fall back asleep until around 5:30 a.m. That made for a rough start to the next day, especially since we had planned to spend the day exploring the area.
The next morning, we went down for breakfast. The gentleman at the omelet station was unfriendly for no apparent reason, and the breakfast itself was mediocre at best.
Before leaving for the day, I spoke with the front desk about the disruption caused by the fire alarm. I was essentially told that because another guest had caused the alarm, the hotel would not be offering any compensation or gesture of goodwill. While I understand they may not have been responsible for the guest’s actions, the rest of us still experienced a major disruption to our stay. A little empathy or an effort to make things right would have gone a long way.
I left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed. Between the middle-of-the-night fire alarm, the lack of concern from management afterward, and the unfriendly service in the restaurant and at breakfast, this was not an enjoyable stay. I will not be staying at this Embassy Suites again. I hope they take guest concerns more seriously and improve both their customer service and how they handle situations like this in the future.
Beautiful restorant and delicious food.
People smoking and activating smoke alarms
The rooms are very spacious.
The alarm went off in the middle of the night and it was impossible to get back to sleep not knowing if we should evacuate.
Beds were very uncomfortable.
Spacious suites. A little outdated and basic furniture but everything was clean.
There was nothing actually bad just outdated draperies and the tub area. It was worth the money though.
Excellent service
Nothing comes to mind
We really enjoyed the beautiful hotel, nice staff and clean!
My only gripe was the coffee tasted like dirt 🤣
This is a great hotel. The location is terrific, with beautiful surroundings. It has a wonderful breakfast buffet. The rooms are spacious.
The parking fee is excessive. Plenty of empty parking spaces were available.
The room was nice and had small refrigerator and microwave, which is always nice. Breakfast with a view of the golf course was great.
Location was amazing
Pool was dirty it smelt like a bird cage. Feathers in the pool, bird poop everywhere and the walk way around the pool was very dirty.
The free drinks were a nice touch.
We weren’t told about parking fee.
Loved the beautiful pool and lobby areas.
Close to medical facilities
Air conditioner hard to regulate for comfort during night time
The room size was nice. We would have appreciated 2 queens or a king, but we made 2 fulls work. The pool was great! The breakfast was amazing! And the overall feel of the hotel was very welcoming.
We would have liked 2 queens or a king rather than 2 fulls. The carpets in the hallway on our floor were stained.
