Pros:

The property was close to the event center where our conference was. The staff were very nice and hospitable. The breakfast was pretty good also.

Cons:

The rooms were really cold. The suite had a really bad smell to it but the hotel was booked out and there were no open rooms for us to switch to due to conference going on.

The next day we switched rooms but the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything from the surrounding neighbors.

I just think it was way overpriced for the conditions of the rooms.

Mooie kamer, schoon en airco die goed werkte tijdens de hittegolf.
Pros:

Kamer uitstekend. Echter toppers schuiven makkelijk van matras. Heerlijk plek voor de toilet artikelen en computer.
Moesten vaak met auto heen en weer en nummerplaat herkenning heel fijn.

Cons:

Ontbijt veel te duur voor wat wij nemen, een bakje muesli met koffie. Dus niet gedaan.

Gut für Familien aber nicht sauber
Pros:

Schöne große Familienzimmer. Wir haben dort nur für eine Nacht geschlafen als Übernachtungsstopp. Dafür lag es praktisch an der Autobahn.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber. Der Teppichboden hat sehr unangenehm gerochen.
Für den Preis ist das eigentlich nicht akzeptabel

Good hotel but expensive for relative distance from Maastricht centre
Pros:

Van der valk brand always reliable. Very good breakfast!

Cons:

They charge 15 euro for the use of a bathrobe! Even if it’s for just half an hour or so to get from room to pool and back. Stupid that they are not provided in room. Hotel is worried about guests stealing them, but judging from bath towel quality I don’t think they have anything to worry about. Very ordinary…
