Beautiful site and rooms, the staff were delightful too.
Clean stylish, didn’t feel dated location was great and the staff were really helpful. Parking was also really good.
We only had one meal other than breakfast (cheese sandwich with bacon) bacon was really really fatty and put me off eating it
Great location
Good price
Staff that were good were great
The lady in the executive lounge is not suited to front of house work. Her tone and rudeness took the shine off the visit. Not just to me but hearing her interactions with others.
Also if I want to take a wine glass back to my room to finish, I will. I’m a big boy, promise I won’t spill it.
River and bridge view
Balcony bar terrace
The hotel overall is great, we have stayed before and its our preferred area when staying in Newcastle, the view was amazing from our room 441, breakfast great and plenty of choice, staff were great in the breakfast.
The bedroom itself was fantastic size, lovely furniture and fittings, brilliant huge window with amazing views, but the size of the bed really let the room and our whole comfort down, we are normal sized people but the bed was very small, I realise it was a double but felt smaller, the room size definitely lends itself to a much bigger bed
I loved the view from our room of the Tyne Bridge and other local landmarks. The room was nice and had a bath+shower rather than just a shower, the water was hot and lots of it. I enjoyed my breakfast and was surprised to see so many options available.
We were only there for the one night and neither of us have any complaints about our visit. Everything was excellent
I loved how friendly and kind the staff were in the executive lounge and the dining area.
I didn't like that we only had one night stay, we wish it was more!
The rooms with a view are worth the extra cost
Everything was perfect
Great location with secure parking, public areas are expansive but welcoming, check in was handled by the very competent staff, in fact all throughout our stay the staff were excellent, breakfast is on a par with the very best , offered eggs anyway you fancied which was a nice touch, fresh omelette was my choice . Would certainly use this hotel again
