Great stay in the big room with 7 beds. Our check-in experience was phenomenal with Andi doing a fantastic job, treating us so well. Thanks Andi. And then Nate serving us breakfast - great job, Nate!
What a beautiful area. I spent a wonderful day at Mammoth Mtn Inn on the way to Yosemite before hiking the JMT. Andi is a gem, so friendly and welcoming. She engaged guests in conversation and also managed to be extremely efficient. She provided information on what was available here and down in The Village. All the staff were interacted with were very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfy, I would definitely come back again.
The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful! They allowed us to check in to our room even though we were early. They made sure we knew where all of the hotel amenities were and when the different dining areas were serving.
The hotel has definitely been around d for a while and not at all fancy. But the room was clean and beds comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s also very conveniently located for access to the lifts and shuttle buses.

Quiet and having rest is just a pause in our wildlife
Special Thanks to Hernan for welcoming us
A special place to celebrate our 25th marriage anniversary.
The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Ted staff was very helpful. I left a special hat in our room and contacted the front desk to retrieve it. They found it and had me send them a shipping label. It was shipped to me right away and I had it within a week.
It's right at the bottom of the main lifts. The beds are comfortable and the plumbing all worked.
The resort fee. The place is a little run down.

Excellent service, comfortable rooms, convenient location. Hernan was especially helpful, we appreciated his recommendations and hospitality. The bike park was epic and the local trails were phenomenal.
Let’s get the honest part out of the way: the facility is dated, the floors are warped, and for the love of all that is holy, someone please replace the carpet. Some of the pools are clean — but if you’re the kind of person who swims in local lakes, rivers, and springs, you won’t lose sleep over it. Also, the bears are not a metaphor. Take the warnings seriously; there are far too many of them auditioning to eat your car.
But here’s the thing — this is a ski lodge. If you’re here to ski or ride, especially with a good-sized group, this is the place to be. The beds are comfortable, the lodge food is reasonably priced, and the beer is cold and wet.
More than anything, though, it’s the people. I didn’t meet a single person I didn’t appreciate. Everyone was so committed to us having a good time that they handed out local secrets — secret or not, it made us feel like insiders.
It starts at check-in with Hernan, who came up from down south like me, showed up to learn how to snowboard, and never left because he fell in love with the place and the lifestyle. He made us feel genuinely taken care of and pointed us to every spot my family could swim, walk, and play. At the restaurant, Gabe had the patience of an angel. The food was good; the service was better.
We did this as a random family adventure, and I’d bring them back for a real ski trip in a heartbeat — dated everything and all. The proximity to the slopes is unbeatable, but it’s staff like Hernan and Gabe who make this place what it is.
An amazing adventure.
A friend and I were in Mammoth to participate in some MTB fun with the Mammoth NICA team. Andi at the front desk was amazingly helpful! She made sure all our of needs were met and our questions were answered. Our time on the mountain was better because she went above and beyond our expectations. Based on her attention to guests' needs, I will be recommending the Inn without reservation. Thanks, Andi!
