With its own full-service restaurant, bar, coffee shop – and just steps away from Main Lodge, ski school, and the Panorama Gondola – Mammoth Mountain Inn offers a full host of modern amenities with an old-school California soul.

Important information:

Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until July. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Fabulous apart from the stuffy nights.
Pros:

Facing Mammoth mountain...just steps away from it all. Great view and parking facilities. Atmospheric ski lodge.

Cons:

The room was warm and the loft where kids slept was even warmer. Had to have the noisy fan on all night which wasn't great fun as having the window open meant bugs were getting in from the humidity outside. Needed air conditioning.

Uitstekende locatie. Mooie bar, super lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Netjes en rustig.

Great stay in the big room with 7 beds. Our check-in experience was phenomenal with Andi doing a fantastic job, treating us so well. Thanks Andi. And then Nate serving us breakfast - great job, Nate!

Pros:

What a beautiful area. I spent a wonderful day at Mammoth Mtn Inn on the way to Yosemite before hiking the JMT. Andi is a gem, so friendly and welcoming. She engaged guests in conversation and also managed to be extremely efficient. She provided information on what was available here and down in The Village. All the staff were interacted with were very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfy, I would definitely come back again.

Pleasant stay for a night on our way to Yosemite
Pros:

The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful! They allowed us to check in to our room even though we were early. They made sure we knew where all of the hotel amenities were and when the different dining areas were serving.
The hotel has definitely been around d for a while and not at all fancy. But the room was clean and beds comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s also very conveniently located for access to the lifts and shuttle buses.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Ted staff was very helpful. I left a special hat in our room and contacted the front desk to retrieve it. They found it and had me send them a shipping label. It was shipped to me right away and I had it within a week.

Wonderful Summer Stay
Pros:

Excellent service, comfortable rooms, convenient location. Hernan was especially helpful, we appreciated his recommendations and hospitality. The bike park was epic and the local trails were phenomenal.
