Brian was so kind and welcoming he really set our stay up to be extra special. He gets a 12/10!! Rooms were clean and comfortable. We slept so well!
Experience was amazing starting at the front desk with Hernan, he gave us great informations as well as answering all our questions.
Comfortable bed. AC in room
No elevator to 2nd floor in Yoder bldg
Went here in late May. Rates were really reasonable and Hernan got us a nicer room since we were traveling for our wedding. Nice guy. I didn't end up skiing but the hotel is steps from the chairlift. Looks amazing. Hot tub with a view of the mountain was great.
Informed and helpful check in experience
I liked the layout of the room. We stayed in a studio two bedroom. The king bed was on the top floor and the bottom had a Murphy bed, with a decent kitchen area.
The room we stayed in 605 on the second floor of the west building, smelled so bad. My sister kept saying it smelt like human pee, like a drunk homeless person had peed everywhere. My mom said our room smelt like someone had died in it. We had allergies in just the room alone, every time we went outdoors our sinus would clear so I know it was the room. It helped if we opened the windows to air it out. The carpet and the furniture needed to be deep cleaned because they had stains in them. The bathrooms in the room looked like the bath tubs hadn’t been cleaned, I wanted to buy soft scrub with bleach to clean it myself. It was a horrible experience staying here and the construction being done was in the wrong areas in my opinion, they were working on walls of the garage but probably should’ve been working on the rooms and putting in new carpet and replacing the dusty carpet.
It was a great experience! Hernan made the check in smooth and quick. It was a great and relaxing stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Hernan, who handled our reservation with grace and good humor. We will definitely be back during the winter for skiing!
Location, location, location! Skiing out the front door and mountain biking out the back. Great pool and spa!
The only thing I like about the hotel is its location; it's very convenient for skiing.
The only positive thing about this hotel is its location, which is very convenient for skiing.
Other than that, the property was quite disappointing. The amenities were limited to three hot tubs, and the outdoor one was noticeably dirty. The gym was tiny, and the game room was equally small.
The furniture was in terrible condition. The couches were the most worn-out I've ever seen, with the upholstery peeling everywhere. Honestly, I've seen furniture left on the curb in better shape.
There was no air conditioning in the room. We stayed in a small two-story duplex, and the temperature control was awful. The first floor was cold, while the second floor was unbearably hot. We've stayed in similar duplex units at other hotels and never experienced this problem.
The only fan provided upstairs was incredibly loud—it sounded like an airplane was flying directly overhead. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a microwave in the room.
For the price we paid, the hotel felt outdated, poorly maintained, and lacking many of the basic amenities you'd expect. Aside from the location, I would not stay here again.
Riley kindly upgraded my room to a mountain view and king bed. Staff all came across as kind and in a good mood. I would definitely
stay again. I’ve skied many place but have to say Blackcomfbs’vertical seems like more than double of Mammoth.
We booked the double beds room, which is in the Yodle Haus (a separate building). It was clean and the beds were comfortable, but since it’s an old property, it’s nothing special. TBH it was 100% better than I was expecting it to be based on the price! The main lodge was much grander.
The pool / hot tub area had too many chemicals in it. I probably wouldn’t swim there again. My husband was disappointed at how old the building was. The bathroom was tiny. You could barely close the door! It kinda gives off employee housing vibes. They also charge an extra $30 resort fee on top of the booking.com price and fees.
Brian was very helpful and straightforward, even gave us an upgrade from a queen to a kingsized bedroom! Very beautiful lobby in a very beautiful location!
MMI is the most convenient lodging if you want to ski or ride. Hernan hooked me up with a great view of the mountain.
Mammoth mountain inn is always amazing. Easy for families and activities. Everyone is very helpful, especially RILEY! He’s the man, I hope he gets to be here for as long as he wants. He’s got jokes and great information, just a great refreshment of customer service. The rooms are great, I was told there’s a renovation coming but honestly if you’re staying here just for the rooms then you’re doing it wrong. Get your butt out and enjoy the sites. This is just a great place to stay in a great location. We’ve valued every part of the trip.
This has been the most incredible experience. The location cannot be beat where it takes three minutes to walk to the gondola. Everything‘s at your fingertips – good dinners, Great Coffee, Great Fitness with Peloton. What a score. The rooms are great. I need to send a special shout out to MAILEILANI. She is outstanding. She took care of everything for this trip and made us so comfortable and we felt so valued. I’m so appreciative. MAILEILANI has a wonderful, friendly disposition and really wants to go overboard to make a guests’ stay memorable Thank you!
Brian was great when we checked in. He was very friendly & helpful. Room was small & the bathroom is need of an upgrade
