Immer gerne wieder, eine sichere Adresse.
Pros:

Zentral gelegen, man ist direkt im Zentrum oder ideal für An-oder Abreise per Bahn oder Auto (Nähe zu einem Parkhaus)
Frühstück ist ok, für den Preis aber etwas zu hoch angesetzt in Bezug auf das Angebot.

Cons:

Frühstück war zu teuer

Für das gebuchte Dreierzimer wurden vor Gebühren für ein Zustellbett verlangt. Dieses war vorher bei Buchung nicht klar ersichtlich. Schade !

Entspannung und Genuss inmitten der Frankenmetropole mit einer 1-A-Lage

Wir waren zum wiederholten mal im Le Méridien Grand Hotel in Nürnberg. Wir erhielten überraschend eine höhere Zimmerkategorie als gebucht mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick aus dem 5. Obergeschoss auf die Altstadt von Nürnberg mit der Stadtmauer direkt vor dem Hotel. Obwohl eine Hauptverkehrsstraße direkt vor dem Hotel verläuft sind die Fenster dicht und ausgezeichnet schallgedämmt. Wir konnten seelenruhig schlafen. Hervorragend waren wieder das Frühstück und das Essen in der Atelierbar. Das Haus selbst ist ein Schmuckstück in Sachen Art Deco. Die Mitarbeiter waren in allen Bereichen, fix, zuvorkommende, kompetent, souverän und höflich - auch wenn Mal eine Reisegruppe herein stürmte und alle Teilnehmer gleichzeitig ihre Wünsche äußerten.

Cons:

Die dunklen schwarz gestrichenen Gänge in den Obergeschossen.

The rip-off breakfast and rubbish internet really put me off what is otherwise a nice hotel.
Pros:

Good location, very helpful English speaking staff. Nice rooms. Bathrooms a little cramped but nothing seriously wrong.

Cons:

The internet is appalling. The Marriot Rewards is perhaps the most user unfriendly system in the world even if it shows as a network on your settings (which it usually didn't). The overall Meridien Guest network is wholly unsatisfactory - usually not connected to the internet and dropping connection very frequently. Totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel.
I had not booked breakfast and was charged 39 Euro for it. My comparison is with the hotel I stayed at in Munich which charged 22 for a better breakfast. Rip-off.
Finally people thinking about this hotel should note that it has huge tour groups (Viking) coming through regularly which can mean a very crowded reception and breakfast rooms.

Could have been better
Pros:

Breakfast was first class

Cons:

Extractor fan broken and nothing done to either fix or upgrade. So bathroom steamed up and no source of fresh air.
Also, dust bunnies on the floor and under bed.
Also, only one bath robe for two guests
Also, no tea, coffee in room unless requested, so did so second day but only got ordinary tea, despite asking for green.

Die Lage, die Ausstattung, das Ambiente

Cons:

Dass es in einem solchen Hotel nicht einmal eine kleine Wasserflasche zum Empfang im Zimmer gibt. Außerdem hat mich das Roomservicemenü schockiert, es gibt nur zwei Optionen, ein Schnitzel und einen Kabeljau, keine vegetarische Option, das fand ich wirklich schockierend.

Incredible hotel in a perfect location.
Pros:

I didn't realize until crossing the street from the train station that the hotel was immediately there on the other side of the street. The location is incredible - close to transit and very walkable. The hotel itself is stunning and I loved the old elegance feel to it. The room itself was comfortable, quiet, and spacious.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like is that I wish I could have stayed here another night!

Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig. Bäder mit Wannen ohne Dusche, ohne Fußbodenheizung inakzeptabel.
Überall Gebrauchsspuren, Flure düster, durch Fußballevent sehr laut.
Gastronomieangebot in der Brasserie außerhalb jeder Diskussion, Frühstück ok
