The staff at reception were amazing
There were maintenance jobs being done at 10 am on a Saturday!
The mare restaurant needs great improvement. The service was very bad, and the staff were all in dirty uniforms with holes.
- Sehr grosse Suite mit über 80m2
- Gute Lage in Brickell
I organised and run an event here having visited the hotel back in February before it was a Marriott hotel. The transition from one brand to another happened after we had contracted our event and, to say the least, it was not smooth for us. So I will keep this review just about my experience as a guest over a 4-night stay. First of all, hats off to Mare Restaurant , excellent food especially at dinner and standout service with genuine warmth from Valentin. I’d also like to mention Nicole on the front desk who helped to overcome some of the transitional problems we experienced from brand to another.
In general, this is a solid Brickell hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms and good facilities. It is also great for elevator geeks, if such a niche exists like aviation geeks or train geeks, for you spend a lot of time in elevators. It is up from the ground floor reception 25 floors to the Lounge where the great restaurant is located. Then down to your room in another elevator. Then if you want to use the pool it is up, down and up again in another elevator in a different building so an amazing 3 elevator rides. So if you love riding in elevators this is a truly outstanding hotel.
All said, when next in Miami I would happily return.
Initially, the title of my review was different, however when I visited the Brickell Arch Hotel website and read a great number of reviews mentioning Leandro, I decided to change it. Evidently, I too, can now express my gratitude to him for such a memorable experience during dinner on Friday, May 8th. Leandro is not merely a manager, he is the kind of person who is truly focused on service, on pleasing guests and ensuring a complete sense of satisfaction. I echo the words of another reviewer who stated and I quote "this industry needs many more Leandros". Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all of this and so much more.
When I visited the hotel, the concierges Carlos and David were very helful during breakfast and shopping. Staff and breakfast are the best features of this hotel. During breakfast everyone was magnificent even manager Leandro stopped by to chat, with warmth and kindness, making a big difference on all the experience with patience, dedication and attention to details were simply exceptional. His genuine hospitality and commiment to excellence perfectly embody what a true luxury hotel experience should be.
I like staying in Brickell when I visit Miami and this is the first time I stayed at this property. I will not stay here again. The elevator system requires guests to take 2 elevators to get to rooms. That is incredibly annoying and time consuming. That was enough to turn me off but, in addition, the staff did not seem to care about guests. As an example, I waited 15 minutes at the restaurant to get a coffee before finally giving up and going to a nearby coffee shop. Lastly, the fitness center is small with one of the two ellipticals not working. There are better places in Brickell.
If you enjoy opening a window from the minute you step in, you know you are somewhere special. Manager(Leandro) ultra focused on service wonderful restaurant, calm, peaceful, gorgeous interiors, light music, if you have a table on the balcony terrace, you breathe the air of Biscayne Bay.
Very Good location
I needed to take 2 lifts to get in/out of my room.
A bit overpriced.
The stay was excellent overall. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and very well located in Brickell. The service was consistently professional throughout my stay.
I would like to extend a special thank you to Stephanie Kopfstedt, the General Manager, whose support and attentiveness in assisting with a package delivered after my departure truly stood out.
The only minor inconvenience was the need to take two elevators to access the rooms, but this is a very small detail and did not affect the overall excellent experience.
Room
Muy buena ubicacion, los cuartos y baño muy bien.
Je moet 250 Dollar betalen voor spa en zwembad dat je niet kan gebruiken onbijt heel duur voor 3 personen 140 dollar
Mare Restaurant is situated on the 25th floor of what is now the Marriott Luxury Hotel, formerly the AKA Hotel. My husband and I are banking professionals based in the Brickell area, and we have dined at Mare for lunch on numerous occasions. It's certainly no coincidence that the Manager is actively involved in every detail from offering a warm welcome and crafting a delicious Aperol Spritz to cleaning plates from a table and preparing an exquisite Cuban Coffee, without a doubt, Leandro is a King, but without a crown. Many Leandro's are needed in the hospitality industry. We, the satisfied guests, placed the crown.
