Hot bank holiday Monday stay.
Pros:

Looks rough on the outside but lovely on the inside. Rooms really nice, big shower with complimentary shower gel and shampoo, big comfortable bed, decent curtains which block out the light well. Very good value continental breakfast at £7 50 each.

Cons:

All good.

Pros:

Lovely and clean rooms. Breakfast was continental but very nice. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The location is okay, it's a 10 min walk if you use the cliff path or the easier route is about a 20 min walk. Unfortunately the swimming pool is no longer in use which is a shame. The room was decorated well and the beds/pillows were super comfy. Fab large shower too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

Pros:

Comfortable and large bed and large room.

Cons:

Our stay didn’t get off to a great start as we were initially greeted by a very disinterested member of staff. We also noticed that the hotel was understaffed as they had no people working at the bar in the evening and only 2 people on breakfast in the morning which meant that most of the breakfast options were empty as staff struggled to keep up with demand. Our room was also quite dusty

Great for a stop over, but don’t go for the breakfast.
Pros:

Great location and lovely clean, spacious family room.

Cons:

The breakfast was awful. Soggy ciabatta rolls, no cut up fruit, coffee was revolting, no eggs on offer. Everything was wrapped in cling wrap and felt like the bear minimum.

Pros:

The staff were friendly and kind. I asked them for a spare blanket, and they kindly gave me one. Breakfast was good. The location was good just 15 mins walking to the beach and 8 mins walking to the co-op.

Cons:

Nothing.

Not for a family
Pros:

Staff were nice but poor girl was a receptionist and the bartender the same time. She was very nice and helpful.

Cons:

Sofa bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast very limited. Very dangerous area of the city which we didn’t know until we went for a walk. Don’t believe the description of the hotel on booking.com. There is no sun lounge or restaurant in the hotel. Parking is £10 per night.

Terrible with poor facilities
Pros:

Location wasn’t too bad about 20 minutes from the beach and high street on a quiet street.

Cons:

Cleaning was very poor room dusty and bathroom grubby was moved to a basement room after asking for the room to be cleaned. The room was below the main corridor so constant walking, running and screaming above head all night should not be a guest room. Also shower blocked, no real windows due to being in the basement you have to shut them and draw the curtain or looked out onto a brick wall. No mini fridge.
