Great location for sporting events, friendly staff, some misfires
Pros:

Valet parking is the only option, but you know that going in. TV was impossible to figure out, and the AC had a mind of its own. Temperature cycled between a refrigerator and a sauna every night. Staff were all very friendly, but the hotel needs work.

Pros:

I love the aesthetics of the hotel. You can tell it was older but it has been kept up very very well. The location is excellent for an event. I will be coming back to this location for my next concert at Ford field!

Perfect for the purpose
Pros:

Location to sporting events, breakfast was delicious!

Cons:

There was a bar outside that had loud music. Although they did stop later evening, our sleep schedule was not their music schedule since we traveled far and were tired

Location, location
Pros:

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's within walking distance of Comerica Park, Ford Field and Greektown. We were there for a Tiger game- it's about a 6 minute walk to Comerica. We also ate at a couple of restaurants in Greektown- the streets are under construction. I don't think the hotel itself is worth the amount they charge except for it's location. There was some mold in the ceiling of the shower and there's no housekeeping every day which I guess is becoming the norm. Valet parking is $55 a night but for us, being from the UP, it was worth not having to drive in Detroit. (Our little town doesn't even have a traffic light). The staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros:

It was not worth the money. It was a basic hotel. We've stayed at better places for the cost.

Cons:

Was woken up out our sleep twice for false fire alarm, then power was out, so we had to wear clothing that was not all that wrinkled, and my wife had to use my phone light to do her make up. We decided to do our last day somewhere else.

Three star stay
Pros:

The room is large. It seems it might have been updated but not to modern standards for showers and bedside outlets.
Location is ok for Peoplemover and Q line.
Breakfast buffet boasts fresh fruit salad and good oatmeal. I wish the yogurt flavors included plain or vanilla in addition to overly-sweetened fruit flavors.
