In general, it was an ok hotel. The room was fine—perhaps a bit dated in style, but fully functional. We also had a great view from our window.
Unfortunately, they engage in deceptive billing practices (maybe this is common in the US, but surprise to someone from the EU). I had a booking with breakfast included, yet they charged me for it again on the final bill. They also added a charge for a "special request" that I never made, nor was I ever notified of such a surcharge. When I contacted them about these extra fees, they went completely silent. Thankfully, a bank chargeback is an option, though I am currently processing my claim via Booking.com first.
Setting the billing issues aside, the breakfast was terrible. I imagine this might just be standard for the US, but there were no vegetables aside from some processed potatoes. Since we follow a pescatarian diet and generally avoid meat, we had a very hard time finding something to eat. There was absolutely nothing offered for vegans and barely any options for vegetarians.
Arlon and Miss Gerry at the front desk went above and beyond for us with directions and information on sights.

Restaurant was not opened on the day of arrival. When we did go to bar/ restaurant drinks were not go.
Bit loud with the traffic being right there. Maybe invest in some sound proof glass? Room and Hotel were clean and nice, staff was great, my biggest gripe was the lack of mentioning that parking cost $55 a night and we stayed for 2 nights so $110 additional for parking? :( . Had they made this clear up front would have tried for a different Hotel. Location is also great as we walked to Little Caesars and back for the concert we attended. Several food places within walking distance..If not for the $55 a night for parking would be giving it a good 4 &1/2 star rating.
Loud from traffic and parking prices were insane and not even mentioned before booking.

The lady at the desk was kind of rude to me. Didn’t appreciate it. Also wish it was cheaper but that’s what you get for the location. Also hated that the breakfast was an additional fee.

Location was great! About. 8 minute walk to Ford Field.
Bathroom was not clean. Room carpet wasn’t vacuumed. Older hotel that was updated.
