Guest Reviews
My wife and I needed to stay near the airport in Florence, Italy to make a 6:30 am flight. The Hotel Franchi perfectly met our needs. The hotel was able for 15 euros to provide a 4:45 am shuttle service to the airport, which is only 5 minutes away. The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surpised that the hotel had dinner and a bar available at a reasonable cost. We took advantage of their food service and enjoyed a quiet dinner in the hotel's outdoor space.
Highly recommend if you need comfortable accomodations near the airport!
Location.
Room had damp musty smell. No bedside table. Kettle but cable to short so it had to go on the floor.
Room tiny.
Clean, easily accessible, good communication
Great location to T2 and airport for transport in for early morning flight.
Room was smaller but not an issue as we were only there to sleep.
The hotel is one stop (T2) away from the airport. I think it’s the closest hotel to the airport. Very clean and modern rooms. I had a very late check-in, so no one was at the hotel, but they texted me on WhatsApp to make sure I had everything I needed and explained the self check-in process, which was very nice of them.
When I arrived at the hotel, the code I was given to open the entrance door didn’t work at first, so I had to call on the intercom. The person who answered didn’t seem to know I was arriving, and it took a few minutes for him to understand who I was.
It would have been helpful if the person who had been messaging me on WhatsApp had passed on my name and information about my late arrival to the person on duty. A little better communication between staff would have made the late check-in smoother.
Great location after a late night arrival in to Florence. Perfectly situated for an early team in to the city centre
Very friendly staff, very clean and convenient shuttle to airport.
Close to airport
Not a great area. Airport transgendered expensive despite short distance
Clean, convenient, good amenities
Charge for airport shuttle
