Style and service in a perfect combo
Pros:

If you love the perfect combination of style, luxury and excellent service, plus delicious food (breakfast and dinner at Paseo) and a lovely beach nearby (at the sister hotel Belles Rives) – Juana Hotel in Juan les Pins is your place. Lovely rooms, some with sea view, a very friendly and efficient team – including the concierges (who double as valet team), the receptionists and the staff at the bar / in the restaurant – is, what you get for a not negligable amount, but it’s worth every cent you spend. I enjoyed each of the five days I stayed here in June, and I will be back as soon as I can. I booked via slh.com, because thus I enjoy my Tier 2 member perks. You can also book directly or via Hilton Honors. How ever you book – you’ll love it. The hotel has a charming little swimming pool, too, and is located downtown Juan les Pins, right next to La Pinède, the open air concert stage, and only three walking minutes from the beach. Awesome. Just marvellous.

Almost a TOTAL Lack of Customer Service.
Pros:

For such a beautiful hotel it is a shame the service is so poor. A five star hotel sets an expectation that guests should expect, but Juana falls short over and over again. Some people might say I am being too picky but when you stay at 4-5 star hotels you should expect the little things will happen seamlessly.
First, I booked direct with the hotel for a four day stay in a "Prestige Sea View" room (€670 room only, no breakfast) for a little relaxation after week at Hotel La Perouse in Nice.
The only communication I received from Hotel Juana after booking was a form letter email confirmation. I am use to an email from either the Hotel or Front Desk Manager, Concierge or Restaurant Manager asking if I need anything during my stay like dining room reservations or something in my room on arrival. That being said the dining room was closed for dinner two of the nights we were there. Not what you expect from a 5 star.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived which isn't an issue. But, we were told to wait in the library off the main lobby. Even though it was over 35 degrees, we were not offered any refreshments complimentary or otherwise, which I thought was odd.
Even though there were many staff members in the lobby at check-in including a bellman, concierge, two front desk employees and a woman I assume was a manager, no one made contact with us as we waited. Throughout our stay the bellmen and concierge seemed glued to their podium instead of working the front doors for the guests. At one point I held the door for a young mother with a baby in a stroller and two other young children in tow, while two employees stood at the podium. Again a level of inattentive staff that one doesn't expect from a 5 star.
The room was lovely and the view was great, but housekeeping was lacking. For two days during our stay the coffee pods for the coffee machine were not replenished. The Kleenex in the bathroom was not replaced when empty. One night we didn't receive turndown service. The final and the most concerning issue was that a glass used for "MetaMucil" in the morning was rinsed but not cleaned and still had orange residue on the glass when we returned in the evening. How is that acceptable? Are the glasses not run through some type of dishwasher?
One afternoon when we returned from Antibes to take a swim there was only one pool towel in the storage container at the pool even though there were few people at the pool. At the market in Antibes we purchased some fresh Strawberries which we put in the small refrigerator in the room. The next day a card was placed in the frig. stating any food placed in the frig would be "Removed". Really? I expect a 5 star hotel to adapt to the needs of the client, not the other way around.
I will end by saying one employee did greet us and asked us how are stay was going. That was Jean-Paul.

pretty soon you will pay for the air
Pros:

Sadly not at 5 star level, everything seems to have a cost.6 Euro for an espresso at the bar? beach at Euro 55 pp and up, parking Euro 30..pretty soon you need to pay for the air. Bathroom needs to be redone..room is ok, Tv is old, wifi is spotty. Service depends on who you encounter..breakfast supervisor was arrogant, room service person smelled, to say they are dog friendly is a stretch. Breakfast buffer is average. all and all not worth Euro 750 plus plus plus plus a night

Not great as it was my bday and they didn’t care
Pros:

Hotel is overpriced for what it is. Yes ok traditional decor , old small lift so need to walk up the stairs as it’s quicker. I stayed for 3 days and on day 2 it was my birthday and the Hôtel reception was told about this. But they did nothing to say happy birthday such as a small piece of cake or drink or anything. I’ve never experienced this in any hotel ever and I travel at least 5 - 6 times a year all over the world. Even Fairmont hotel in Monaco got me a bottle of champagne for me when my bday was only 2 days after I was leaving their hotel !! I wouldn’t waste my money on this hotel too expensive and not attentive enough for my liking.

Very attractive and luxurious small hotel. Great service. Cabs necessary to get to Old City.
Pros:

Lobby staff were great. Helpful. Kind. Pleasant.

Cons:

No pull off for cabs. Felt risky getting in and out when there was traffic, which was most of time.
In bathroom, toilet paper holder extended over toilet. Should be elsewhere. Grab bars at entrance to shower and over bathtub would be very helpful and appreciated.
