Disappointing
Pros:

Decor was nice

Cons:

Didn’t feel 5* at all. No drinks/ cold towels offered on arrival, not told when breakfast was or offered a tour of facilities, waited in restaurant until our room was ready - sat there for 15 mins and no one even came over to ask us if we needed anything. The room was dusty, cramped and smelled not fresh at all. There was one water bottle for a three-person room, when I asked for more they said it would come at a charge. No internet connection- poor WiFi. No access to Netflix etc on TV. The pool was small and there was a busy road behind it, so you hear cars honking. If you want access to sister hotel belles rives beach where it says you have access to shared amenities, you still have to pay for the beds. It’s an old institution that people go to for nostalgia, but desperately needing an upgrade to compete with actual luxury hotels. It is not 5*. We left on the day we checked in.

Beautiful hotel, disappointing facilites for a 5 star hotel
Pros:

Architecturally and aesthetically the hotel is beautiful. The staff were very pleasant and nice. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pastry. We liked the room, nice decor, sheets, towels, robes etc

Cons:

Pillows were so uncomfortable, tvs are old so you are limited to French channels no ability to stream / cast. Pool was cramped, and extremely loud next to busy road, so not an enjoyable experience, restaurant closed 2 of the 6 nights of our stay, very limited room service menu

We had a great stay for 2 nights. It was a great place to stay with my 2 daughters for a mini break.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. 3 minute easy walk to the beach.

Cons:

An inside area where we coud relax in the cool after check out and waiting to leave for the airport.

Stunning looking hotel, poor service.
Pros:

Beautiful looking hotel, stunning and historic. Room had a comfy bed, great air conditioning, and the location is spot on.

Cons:

No coffee machine, just a kettle with two sachets of instant coffee that did not get replaced. No dairy products or dairy substitute of any kind. Also, on the third day the housekeeping left the dirt spoons and empty tea sachets where they had been left!!! The TV was a relatively small, old Toshiba. Nowhere near a five star standard.

Rien en particulier à part que les accès ont été privatisé le soir par une soirée lors du festival de jazz et la journée par un court métrage où ils ont eu le culot de demander à mes enfants de faire moins de bruit dans les espaces communs
