Pros:

I like location of the place. The kitchenette. On site laundry. Close to gas, food, post office and central to my clients.

Cons:

To many cars in the parking lot. Many park there and fly out and I know many are not stay there.

Recent stay.
Pros:

The front desk staff put friendly, I do have a couple of concerns. Upon checking in their very little toilet paper on the rolls and they only give you 2 towels. I since yuu don’t do housekeeping everyday I Woolf suggest putting in the room 4 towels. I know you cdn get new towels at the desk, but who wants to do that everyday of their stay. Another concern is the trash that collects at end of the hallways on each floor. It needs to be picked up more often. It was poking up each day.

Cons:

Blood stain on sheet. The shower door would not stay closed, and the track was not leveled. Dog walk area not maintained. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night with no explanation ofther than a guy standing in the middle of the hallway saying "all good now, all good now"?? Television didn't work (was replaced the 2nd day of stay

Terrible Experience
Pros:

I would not recommend the Candlewood Suites, at the Syracuse Airport, New York as a place to stay for the following reasons.
Our room had a kitchenette but was under-supplied. It had no glasses, silverware or pots and pans to prepare food.
Both of our keycards had to be replaced several times because they would randomly stop working
We had one bar of soap that was a half inch thick and one and one-quarter inches long, which was to be used for both the shower and sink. (See picture) For comparison, the dental floss box behind the bar soap is 1.5 inches tall and 1.25 inches long.
There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee packets available. Coffee was only available in the lobby. On the first morning we were there, we had to ask the desk help to empty the coffee grounds from that coffee maker before it could make coffee.
There was a fitness room; however, internet was not available there, and the programs on the treadmill were not available while working out. Additionally, after working out on the equipment, there were no cleaning supplies to clean the equipment before the next user.
There was only one chair in the room. Their advertisement photos show two chairs. Additionally, there were no luggage racks. This meant that the only place to open a suitcase without placing it on the floor or bed was the small desk (that had only the one chair).
The snack area in the lobby was empty. There was a vending machine in the lobby, but no other restaurant or food facilities.
On two separate floors trash was stored at the end of the hall (see picture). This trash remained there the entire weekend we stayed there. Trash in the stairwell between the first and second floors stayed there a good 24 hours before being picked up.


Not shown in their advertising pages is the Tax Recovery fee of $83 per night. This fee goes to the corporation and NOT the government.
Additionally, upon checkout, they refused to give us a receipt. They insisted it was only available online.

Hotel not quite ready for occupancy after remodeling
Pros:

Convenient to I90

Staff friendly and helpful

Cons:

They were renovating and not really set up properly yet - front entrance was blocked - kitchenette had no plates, etc. pantry store was not stocked.
The mattress in our room sagged so bad was barely functional

Unrestful night.

The bed is so uncomfortable and lumpy. The room needs a new bed. I could not get comfortable anyway I tried and could not sleep at all with an early flight.

A great choice with easy access to Hancock airport.
Pros:

i arrived to expect a room that was below average, as per various reviews. but seeing that this facility is under refurbishment, i would have to disagree with the reviews. yes, the facelift is ongoing. Yes, there are minor problems, which come with this extensive work being done. the staff is very adept in making things get done quickly and professionally. the room is quite comfortable and spacious. they are still resupplying rooms with utensils, dishes, cups, and other kitchenware, but they are available when asked. the beds are new and comfy. its worth the value. they also have a shuttle service to the airport starting at 4:00 am.

Worst place ever
Pros:

This is one of the worst places we have ever stayed. Everything is dirty, worn out and broken. We got a room with 2 beds. One was broken so that left 1 bed. Screws just sticking out holding the shower door in place, the sink filled with cracks and stains. The stove and refrigerator are so dirty they are unuseable. So noisy you can here the next room talking at normal tones. Do not waste your money. We have canceled our night upon our return and will not stay here again
