Location and parking paid with sight of ticket

The hotel is conviently located to shopping, dining, Spinnaker tower and ferries. The breakfast was very good, but the same options every day.
My husband & I was placed in two twin beds vs one double bed.
The location is prefect for dining, shopping and catching the ferries to France and Isle of Wight. The breakfast was very good and busy. The hotel restaurant menu is limited but there are plently of other places to eat within a short walking distnance.
Excellent location, friendly, helpful staff.Easy to get extra coffee/ milk for the room. Quiet corridors at night. Easy to adjust room temperature. Plenty of hot water, good shower pressure.
Cleanliness-dusty curtains and ledges in the room, stairwell handrails and door handles sticky. Trays in dining room dirty, machine coffee undrinkable. Toiletries in bathroom very unpleasant. Using open bowls for breakfast yoghurt, jams, cereal. Slices of cheese only appeared on our 3 rd and final breakfast.
Stayed numerous times & love the location, brekky included grab a coffee from machine., parking just below & staff efficient & polite. Gunwharf Quays on your doorstep for great outlet shopping.

Staff were lovely and tried v hard to accommodate our needs.
The hotel is very close to the railway station and ferry port.
Hotel appeared to be clean.
Breakfast was plentiful and breakfast items of good quality.
Ambient music. - same music played on repeat over 24 hrs.
Difficult to find. Needs better lighting outside. Most of the immediate area under construction.
Was charged 15 quid for a dog stay at reception. This has never been mentioned before in the booking process Despite me pointing out that we were bringing a dog and that was the reason we had chosen the hotel throughout the booking and confirmation process. Ze ro dog facilities provided
Rooms were souless, dated and not in good order. Curtains damaged and a badly cracked wash basin.
None of the advertised bar food was available. Lovely staff sorted out some chips. These appeared to have been grilled but staff should be applauded for their efforts.
Content of breakfast was great. But the self service area layout is confusing and nobody was in attendance to help. Felt like we polished off many steps going back or searching for items.
Coffee was out of a machine and undrinkable
Location was great, easy parking and lovely breakfast.
Breakfast was excellent, check in and out efficiently. Good air conditioning, Good location. Disable parking is very good.
Bed too small for double bed that should hold two people. Bed too high for elderly and blue badge holders.
Comfortable bed, fresh bedding, clean room with kettle tea and coffee, ( only instant coffee but better than none).
Paid for room with a view, not disappointed.
Good breakfast. Polite, friendly, helpful staff.

Unfortunately, my room wasn't very clean. The carpets weren't very clean, even had a sweet wrapper and food stuff on the carpet. Kettle still had water in it !
