Great beds, terrible breakfast
Pros:

Beds were lovely clean and very comfy. We stayed in an apartment. I would call it a tiny unit. In winter it was lovely and warm, tv in each room, microwave, fridge and freezer. Small 4 seat dining.

Cons:

Some glasses and plates had greasy fingerprints all over them and had to be washed before use. Otherwise, the unit was nice and clean. Sunday morning continental breakfast was pretty average. Coffee out of the coffee machine was just warm, not hot. Just a few stale chewy 7danishes, stale bread for toast, a big jar of vegemite that was almost empty for everyone to share, with greasy film around outside, honey in a squeeze bottle for everyone to share etc... no individually wrapped spreads. Not very hygienic. At 7am the t.v. in the dining room was blaring loud with soccer and we asked the manager to turn it down as we had just got out of bed. Manager spoke an absolute minimum, receptionist the same. The Asian cleaners spoke minimal English but were all smiles and really friendly and nice. Bit of a mixed review but an honest one. Sorry, not keen to stay again.

2nd time. This time was better with a better position further from the freeway noise.
Pros:

Been twice now. This time I was in a better positioned room, not close to the highway.
Inside was warm and cosier. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. Everything provided.

Cons:

This was a night when the restaurant wasnt open so I did not leave the room. Mid winter.

I would recommend the apartments because of their location and cleanliness.
Pros:

The apartment was a little dated - but it was warm and the beds were comfortable. It was in a quiet location - but there was a main street filled with shops and cafe's just around the corner.

Cons:

It could be freshened up with vertical screen blinds. The curtains were a bit dated. A few things were dated - but it wasn't a huge problem.

Great location.
Pros:

Stayed 2 nights in july, the heater works well. i like it's locality easy access to major shopping centre Southland & to other shopping centres like Chadstone. Easy access to multiple highway & freeways north, south & east. Great hours to have staff onsite for nightime check-in. Easy to see box for room key-card to check-out. Plenty of free on-site car parking. Shower was hot & good water pressure. I like a firm bed so I was comfy. Great to have large armchar, & office chair. Perfect size for one person.

Cons:

I didn't like how the outside lights shone straight into the room all night even with blockput curtains closed.
Other guests children were annoying talking outside my room in eveng & morning, I was VERY tired from travelling.hundreds of kilometres.
