The hotel was absolutely adorable in a perfect location. For a boutique hotel the staff was on duty 24/7 and always available with helpful spot on advice, and a great big smile. The restaurant was fantastic.

The location was decent but other hotels nearby that would’ve been just as good if not better.
The rooms are not good at all. No window & others I saw had windows that looked into the hall. Who wants that?!The bed was not comfortable & no amenities. They don’t clean your room or give you fresh towels. No outdoor space. There were homeless people outside the hotel every day. One slept steps away from the door to the hotel. And one asking for money every day and yelling at people as they walked by if you ignored him when he asked for money. I would never go back, it was such a waste of money.
Close to water
No coffee at hotel
The location was a really good one for upper Boston area, that I had not been visiting so much as the southern Backbay and South-End. The Inn was really close to harbour for whale watching and the surrounding area was quite clean and nice for a central city. The restaurant next to the Inn was exceptional - one of the best food that I have had for long time in Boston and definitely better than other 10+ hotels before this one. The room was compact but worked well for me as a single traveller looking for a few nights near harbour and airport.
The light in the room and bath room was dark but it didn't matter so much for me since I were just sleeping there a few nights. The TV was a small one and channel menu did not work well - not a good place to watch movies or sports from TV. The price in Boston is also quite high but I preferred to pay this rate rather than take a chance in low rate places.

I'm a long time rpeat visitor. I aways enjoy the hotel. The location is great. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere.
This is the first time that my room was a cabin. I didn't enjoy the subterranean feel.
