Great place to stay for the week!
Pros:

Great location in denver tech center. Close to top golf, target, the train, the freeway, restraunts, Dbat, and a costco. Rooms are large with plenty of space. Its like a little apartment, I was initially going to stay at another hotel that didnt off the amenities this one has and it was only 70$ more. So for all the amenities the 70$ more is worth it. Pool is a good size and its not deep only goes to like 6 feet. Hot tub was nice, patio area had 2 bbq grills with tongs and such, towels provided, if anything I would say it could use some new cushions but overall patio is great. Showers have great water pressure, small business center with 1 comp and 1 printer. Kitchen has a stove top, toaster, pots and pans, plates and cups. Free laundry machines. Gym has elliptical, bike, tread, a couple mats and a cable machine. It is small but nice. If I could add anything it would be free weights, breakfast is included and the breakfast was well tended to and was great everyday. Common area is a good size, and mon-wed there is social hour from 5 to 730 i want to say where they serve a small food iteam and have a bartender with beer and wine. I was so pleased with this stay and I would definitely stay again next time im in denver. Quick shout out to Tiffany and Monet at the front desk who made sure I got the best price for my stay and also went above and beyond to help me print out some flyers. Great staff and a great hotel to stay!

Great hotel!
Pros:

The hotel is very nice! The rooms are comfortable and very clean, we loved the breakfast options every morning as well as the beer/appetizers on Mon-Wed. The only issue was my shampoo bar went missing from the shower a few days into our stay, which I will now need to replace. I asked about your policy at the front desk and was told a manager would contact me, but I never heard anything back.
Thanks!

Stay away even if it is free
Pros:

One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at: bugs in the room, sheets, horrible smelling, rude staff

Zero hygiene
Pros:

Very disappointed by what I witnessed at breakfast this morning. I observed a staff member ( lady has one eye covered ) using her mouth to pull open the seal on a coffee creamer/syrup container. Proper food-handling and hygiene standards are essential in the hospitality industry, and seeing this was concerning. I hope management addresses this matter and reinforces safe food-service practices.

A little less than ideal- but may have just been that room...
Pros:

This location was just fine and the hotel was clean but the room we stayed in was right across from the laundry and we heard the machines all night. Also every time the AC turned on there was a "bang" (like they need to tape the air duct). I usually try not to say anything but the night of sleep was pretty bad.

A blemish on the brand
Pros:

Let me preface my review with a brief piece of context: I used to travel for work and exclusively stayed with IHG properties, from Candlewood Suites to Holjday Inn Express to Hotel Indigo to (when pricing was great) the flagship InterContinental brand. I’ve also stayed at a lot of cheap hotels over the years: Motel 6, Days Inn, and Super 8 to name a few. Nothing wrong with a cheap hotel—sometimes you just need a bed and a shower and then you’re on your way, or maybe that cheap hotel is your only place to stay because of circumstances beyond your control. There’s no expectation of amazing accommodations in those situations, because you aren’t paying much either.

Staybridge Suites is IHG’s premium extended stay brand, with Candlewood being the entry level, and based on the photos, location, and price advertised, one would assume that the Staybridge location in DTC was part of that premium brand. Instead what I found was a dated, ill-maintained, and confusingly laid out…not so much a hotel but a tenement. None of the staff seemed interested in making me feel welcome or appreciated—not that I need my meager silver tier acknowledged, but whenever they skip this step I usually find lots of other problems, so it’s a good measure, like the infamous Van Halen tour rider requesting all the brown M&Ms be removed from a bowl—if they miss that, they aren’t applying the appropriate level of attention to their work elsewhere.

I had booked a Two Queen Bed Studio Suite for my family, which would imply that there were two queen beds. Instead we got two double beds, and a quick look at the hotel room map (necessary because of a needlessly confusing layout) confirmed that there were seemingly no rooms with two queen beds available at all. We paid for two queen beds and got two double beds.

Getting to our two double beds “suite” was tricky enough because of the aforementioned confusing layout, but getting our bags up was even more of a challenge. After grabbing the only luggage cart available for well over a hundred rooms, I struggled to get back in because there is only one sidewalk ramp on the whole property, and it was blocked by a pallet of mulch. I’m sure that ADA violations aren’t part of IHG common practice either. Brown M&Ms again.

The whole building smelled like cheap cigarettes insufficiently covered by cheap air freshener. The carpet was torn, worn, and old. The light fixtures were falling off of walls messily covered in old wallpaper. Every door and doorframe needed to be repainted. This wasn’t “oh we’re due for a remodel” so much as “how long can we put off spending money.”

This trend continued in our “suite” where the tile was sticky, the cabinets dirty, the upholstery ripped, and tables and chairs shown in the photos missing entirely. The bathroom door didn’t have a lock, and the fan sounded like it was a few minutes away from falling apart when in operation. The kitchen sink faucet had no aerator so turning it on covered me in a big splash of water. The room’s HVAC unit was located above the shower, with the condensation drip line exiting directly above the bathtub. I’ve only seen this in cheap NYC apartments built into pre-war buildings, not a national hotel chain.

When we came back from dinner, we parked in the back of the lot closer to our room, mostly because the spaces by the front door were taken by hotel employees, only to find that our key card didn’t open that door, so we had to walk to a different entrance and then walk back to our room. Later this same door was blocked open by a contractor—a big security issue if these doors are supposed to be locked.

We booked two nights, but after one poor night of sleep in the tenement, we abandoned the rest of our vacation and went home early because that was better than staying in such a depressing and downtrodden location.

All this to say: avoid this hotel unless you’re truly desperate. If you have a choice, choose another property. And if you’re IHG, consider revoking the brand license of this property. The owners, PM Standard Tech, seem to have zero interest in operating a decent hotel when they can overcharge for cheap accommodations with little consequence.

Can do better.
Pros:

The pool was not working two days in a row. The dining area in social was being used by guests to do some business work, very loud and disruptive.

The rooms were ok. The wheelchair room had a very shower area. Bathroom was dark and not well appointed. Beds were comfortable thankfully and hotel staff was very nice.

Room concerns
Pros:

Garbage. Disposal needed cleaning and freshing. Refrigerator did also. Bathroom sink needed to be serviced to drain properly. No coat hangers in closet. Desk had 3. No luggage rack In room. No telephone in room to contact desk or other calls. Need to refresh rooms on weekends. Told housekeeping, but they did not seem to understand problems. Talked with managers on duty. They had staff refresh room on Friday with towels and removing wastebasket In-serts and put in fresh. Left note with manager on duty when we left about concerns.

Not what I expected
Pros:

Hotel ran out of towels on a Sunday and was not able to give us new towels until Monday afternoon. Several cops were in the hotel hallway late one night and made us not feel safe. The hallway also smelled of fish. The gym was lackluster as it only has cables

It was clear the property was undergoing a lot of renovation.
Pros:

A very uneven experience. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Scuffed walls and half finished renovations. Our room windows were so sun deteriorated that they no longer closed. Kitchen floor came up as you walked on it. Yet we could see they’re trying to slowly make progress on what was likely a newly acquired neglected property. Once it’s done it’d be much better

An ok experience. It could be better.
Pros:

I was there 16 days in the hotel. Not a single day were the room floors moped, nor the toilet scrub, nor the bed linens changed.

I left the hotel 5 days earlier than my booking end date and they did not checked me out of the hotel until the reservation date ended.

They are remodeling the hotel which is good. The room sizes are good.

Horrific experience!
Pros:

We booked a 2 bed suite for my daughter's birthday but when we arrived we got given a 1 king bed suite (to sleep 6 people). The front desk said it was the managers decision to move our reservation without informing us and there was nothing they could do about it. We ended up having to leave. The girls were not sad as the place was extremely run down with caution tape over doors and they felt unsafe. Will never book this place again. What a disappointing experience!
