They pay for Uber to MD Anderson hospital. Lots of outlets.

Good location and services
Pros:

Ubers to the medical center is a great service, the breakfast buffet very good, and the bed was comfy. Location had walking access to supermarket, Target, and restaurants. Frequent bus service almost out front, made it very easy to get around.

Cons:

The room was generally uncomfortable. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, a single hard backed chair in the room. It was nice to have a microwave and minifridge, but we had to sit on the bed to eat what we heated. No hangars for hanging clothes. In general the front desk staff were great but one person was almost surly. One bad apple can spoil the barrel.

decreased quality of breakfast and in room espresso

Staff was great; free uber to and from hospital

Cons:

the breakfast offered much fewer options than in the past; they scaled back the quality and quantity of breakfast items vastly. also they changed the nice espresso makers in the room to cheap coffee makers that are all cheap plastic and make nasty coffee.

Our stay was great. We enjoy each time we visit. We are always treated very well.
Pros:

The room is always comfortable. The front desk is always AMAZING. We love those ladies. The breakfast was great. We love the options. The Uber system for MDAnderson patients is a blessing. Thank you

Cons:

The bar tender was very rude. At times she was obnoxious. Made the sitting area a little hostile.

Pros:

The hotel was delightful, decorated in Vintage or Retro probably 50s or 60s. Very creative decor and handmade jackets for sale - definitely one of a kind. The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

I was assigned a room that was designated 'Handicap Accessible". It was not. There were no bars to assist with the toilet, the shower had no grip bars and a narrow entrance door. There was no emergency call button to summon help when I needed it. This room should never be considered 'Handicap Accessible". I had them call the EMS to get me out of the shower.

Excellent stay!!
Pros:

The staff made me feel welcome right at the beginning!!! So cordial! So helpful!!!

Cons:

I didn't have any washcloths in my bathroom & I was too tired to call for one. I had a long day & just wanted to go to bed.

Plus all of the lights were connected to one switch instead of individual; lamps, overhead. There could be another lamp on the other lampstand.

Relaxing stay
Pros:

This hotel is relaxing. The location is good and the staff is friendly. They have free breakfast and rides to the hospital. There is free parking and eatery around. It's a great place to relax and prepare for surgery or after.

En ocasiones la actitud del personal de comedor en el desayuno y de las personas que hacen limpieza en la habitación, el sábado por la tarde no nos trató amablemente, no obstante que se había solicitado el servicio de limpieza

Perfect location for the World Cup game. Rooms and breakfasts need upgrading. Friendly helpful staff
Pros:

Location. Close to NRG stadium. Bed was comfortable. Quiet room. Very quiet air conditioning unit. Really friendly helpful staff. The breakfast area was comfortable. Had large TV's to watch the World Cup games. The check out time of 12 noon was much appreciated as was the ability to do some computer work in the breakfast room.

Cons:

Breakfast was very poor even by American standards. Very few healthy options. Not even plain water just a lot of sugary juices. Omelettes looked like they had heated cheese whiz inside. A few apples but nothing else healthy. Cereal was mostly sugary options. When they rain out of things they didn't replace them. Furniture in the rooms were old especially the tables. There were holes in the plaster in the walls. Nothing large but more than a few. The hotel rooms could use some TLC. Many of the furniture tops were sticky as were the tables in the breakfast room. Would recommend to have a small work desk and chair in each room.
