The hotel was clean and the staffs were very friendly 🥰 we had enjoyed our stay! thanks Hilo Hawaiian Hotel for your hospitality! 🥰
Location
We had booked the room for 3 people. There were only 2 sets of towels and the shower soap dispenser was empty. We tried to get coffee and a hot chocolate in the morning only to be told the machine was not working!! I reported the towel and soap issue and when we returned late in the evening it had not been corrected.
The location in proximity to job site
Front desk poor mood and unwelcoming, food and debris on room floor, greasy unmopped bathroom, hair in shower, loud kitchen staff outside window smoking and chatting, view of kitchen roof, air conditioner spit dust on use, stray cats around premesis and pooping on cats, ladders left out near entrance to hotel
The location is great. Has an old Hawai’i vibe. Food and drink limited. No morning coffee, but within walking distance to a great local coffee shop.
Carpets could be cleaned or replaced. There were only 2 power outlets for device charging.
Breakfasts were good tasting with the exception of açaí fruit bowl. The ingredients in the açaí fruit bowl tasted like they had been open and exposed to the refrigerator. In other words, it tasted of fridge.
See above statement.
Location and cold a/c
First room I got had ants crawling on the desk area and they switched me to another room ( not upgrade ) but to another room..
Room number 521, the sliding glass door frame wasn’t screwed/bolted into the wall correctly and had couple termites flying around in my room in which I killed..
Stanza bella e grande.
Great hotel the location and staff was great 😊
Lokatie is mooi
Het hotel is vervallen, kamer was slecht en vies, vloerbedekking kleverig, airco werkte niet goed. We checkten 10mn te laat uit en werden direct belast met een extra rekening van USD35.
The entire hotel desperately needs a ful upgrade. Our room was outdated, the airconditioning was not working properly, the room carpet is sticky and full of stains.
Rather than compensating us for the bad experience, we were even charged $35 for checking out 10 minutes late!! Don't go to this hotel if you visit Hilo, I would say.
The locations and most of the staff, actually all the staff except the manager. The fact it had a great restaurant downstairs made it much more convenient and appealing. The balcony rooms were nice for the breeze and pictures of a beautiful view.
The manager of this hotel was very rude and should not be working with the public. There was no coffee in the lounge and limited computer access (1 computer)!
Nice vice of bay from room and great location next to park. Also there was ample parking on site.
This room didn't have a balcony.
水量が多いのでお風呂にお湯を溜めるのに時間がかかりませんでした。
バスルームに備え付けてあったボディシャンプーが切れていました
We stayed at the hotel for four days. We are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. This hotel was quite a surprise and a disappointment. First there was no Aloha spirit at the front desk. The lady was rude! We stayed on the 8th floor. The hotel has no brochures, you're given a letter and plastic bags when you check in. The letter explains that since 2020 COVID room service is only every other day if you stay four or more days. We were instructed to put our trash and dirty towels out in the hallway. There was no room safe. We didn't want to risk losing any jewelry or money so we chose to keep the don't disturb sign on our door. So as you're leaving for the day you get to collect your trash and see other people's trash in the hallway. I called the front desk about the ice maker on our floor not working. I was told the fourth floor on worked. Great! Our room first impression it's big and looked decent. As we settled in we noticed; the couch and chair cushions were filthy, the kitchenette area was to very small, there was mold in the bathroom, there was shampoo and conditioner but no shower soap, one box of tissues was on the dining room table, we paid the $30 for a room gift and received 2 boxes of cookies we could have bought at less than half that. If you weren't moving around your room the air conditioner shuts off. We had a view of the bay from our balconies and a view of the pool from our dining room window. The cement around the pool has green algae. A morning pressure wash could have cleaned that but they choose only to hose the leaves away. That all said we had beautiful views of the bay area. One morning the sun came out and we could see Mauna Kea and town. The calm water was very peaceful. The location of the hotel was perfect whether we were heading up to see Volcano park , head to town, or going further. Hilo is beautiful, the tropical gardens are worth the trip. We drove up to Mauna Kea that was quite a ride. We don't recommend this hotel but Hilo is a don't miss.
It was convenient to and from the airport
Bathroom door was hard to open and close. The hair dryer was useless, mo heat snd very slow air.
Çevresindeki yeşil alan, deniz yani doğa harika. Otelin konumu çok güzel.
Otel oldukça eski ve bakımsız.
