Great location the free shuttle into town at night was a bonus
I wish there was an expresso coffee machine in room and breakfast instant coffee in room and filter for breakfast not. Good enough for room rate

Good quality room and quiet, with a pleasant view of the cathedral spire and river from our king room with comfortable bed.
They is no dinner, but they do provide a free shuttle service into the city square and back for the opportunity to dine at some rather (in my opinion) low quality pub restaurants.
Excellent spacious room with view across meadows and the river towards Salisbury Cathedral. About a twenty minute walk to the city centre. No evening meal but a free shuttle service to and from restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff. And they remembered my special birthday.

The location for getting to the city and cathedral although not if you have limited mobility
Even though the hotel information states that the restaurant isn’t open in the evening there should be at least a limited bar meal service. After travelling for many miles and hours, I’m sure, myself included, that the last thing one wants to do is to go into the city to find a suitable eating establishment.
There is no proper lounge area. The seating arrangements are either in the bar or breakfast room. The bedroom although large with a lovely big bed and wonderful views, was very bare with no character. For the price paid it was very much like a “ budget” hotel room. There were no shelves in bathroom.
Zeer comfortabel hotel aan de rand van Salisbury met voldoende parking. Ruime, stijlvol ingerichte, zeer nette kamer. Er was altijd iemand aanwezig aan de receptie, dus in en uitchecken ging supervlot.
Vooraan het hotel kun je de vrij drukke straat wel horen.
Great location!! Within walking distance of the Salisbury Cathedral (and the Magna Carta!) In fact we were lucky enough to get a room with a view of the cathedral (and sweet little sheep grazing by the river) right out of our window. The room was spacious— very welcome from other rooms we’ve stayed at in our travels. And there was a very spacious patio area to enjoy a drink from the bar or just relax and enjoy the views.
Having the shuttle bus from hotel was excellent.
Everything was great. But the terrace overlooking the stream (with swans), the field (with sheep) and the cathedral was amazing.
Location ideal. Views of Salisbury Cathedral and beautiful riverside garden. Lots of parking. Bar prices better than in town.

Disappointed that not more is made of the bar and terrace especially as there is no dining.
Second séjour pour moi au Riverside dont j’aime particulièrement la situation, la décoration et le confort.
Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et très copieux avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la rivière et sur la ville.
Le service de navette vers le centre-ville est très pratique. Je conseille cependant de faire le trajet aller à pied (15 mn) et de revenir avec la navette car la balade est très jolie via la rivière et la cathédrale.
J’avais choisi une chambre avec vue rivière. Malheureusement la chambre attribuée (11) étaient situées dans l’angle du bâtiment sans la vue sur la cathédrale ce qui m’a déçue.
