Electric charging point for our car was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and this proved very convenient as we were breaking our journey from Cornwall to Sussex. Breakfast was buffet style and very good, hot and plenty of choice. Our room was comfortable and we were upgraded to a slightly more spacious room with a sofa and overlooking the car park, but sufficiently distant from the very busy road. The evening shuttle service into the city was excellent. We were taken to a restaurant of our choice and collected from there at our convenience. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

Breakfast was not so good on our 1st morning there ,long wait ,items not replenished ,eggs very overcooked even though they are cooked to order ,not great value for the money so we decided not to bother for the rest of our stay.
The view across meadows and river to the Cathedral
The outside terrace was very slippy and needs a thorough pressure hose cleaning and treatment with wet & forget. We found the terrace and steps down to be very dangerous

Would have been nice to have had a fridge in the room. Safe. Unfortunately the shuttle wasn't working for our stay into town but it was great for the return.

No evening meals, a free shuttle to centre is provided, so not really a problem.
Large car park conveniently located. As a US American this is important compared to parking in a Moore space restricted downtown area.

Great location, easy to walk into Salisbury. The staff were really attentive and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. We didn't use the shuttle bus into town but it sounded ideal if you didn't want to walk to/from dinner. We had a view of the cathedral from our room!

We were upgraded on check in and our room was superb. The view of the garden, river, Salisbury Cathedral and Giraffe was lovely.
It would have been wonderful to have dined there in the evening, but we had a courtesy vehicle to Market Square where we found a very nice restaurant, followed by the driver returning to pick us up to take us back to the hotel. Excellent service.
