Noisy wedding party leaving at midnight woke me up from the carpark
At breakfast there was no Cafe Latte available which was slightly disappointing when a ( self service ) machine is just a few hundred pounds to purchase.
The view from the room was perfect for us. It was very relaxing and was a pleasure to look out on every morning.
It was lovely to relax in the grounds with a glass of wine or beer in the evening.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we could not fault them.
We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Its perfect for short stay and the location is great as there is a lovely walk to the Cathedral. They also put on a complimentary cab service. Great after a meal in Salisbury you can get picked up and taken back to the Hotel in the evenings, really helpful. Staff really helpful too.
Superb setting, overlooking the garden and river and with an excellent view of the cathedral. Very nice terrace and bar area. Watching the sun going down with the cathedral as a backdrop was like being in a Constable painting. AC in room brilliant, as temperature outside was 35C. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Able to check in early. Complementary shuttle into town was promptly and efficient. Parking ample and easy. Value for money was exceptional.
The lack of a restaurant in the evening wasn’t a problem because of the shuttle. So this isn’t really a criticism and I’m sure they have a good reason for not doing evening meals. But having seen the limited options for eating out in Salisbury, if they did open a restaurant I’m sure it would be successful.

The breakfast buffet was alright, but staff seemed to have a difficult time keeping up : missing plates, shortage of fruit. They could invest in a coffee machine for the guests. The coffee was terrible.
