Pros:

Free parking, close to town centre.

Cons:

The room was very hot but they did provide a fan but left it outside the wrong room. The room was very dated.
We were not acknowledged when we left even though we said goodbye.

Lovely hotel, great location and we will certainly go there again.
Pros:

Good breakfast, big choice. Evening meal OK. Lovely dining room . Easy free parking on site.
Great location within easy walk of town centre. Harrogate itself is a lovely place and there are plenty of places to visit either by car, train or bus.

Cons:

The view from the room was dreadful, looking out at what appeared to be an unused part of the building a few yards away.
However, we have been to this hotel several times in the past and have always had a nice view, so this would not prevent us from going again.

Comfy, close to the town centre and quiet.
Pros:

Location to the town centre and the spaciousness of the hotel

Cons:

Wi-fi was very poor, non existent. Would have liked to have access to the rear of the hotel and the gardens and either some verandas to shelter from the sun or have a comfy place with shade. Would be nice to see / experience the history of the hotel - spa area and other nooks and crannies that tell the story of the hotel.

Pros:

The staff were efficient and very friendly. The breakfast was amazing!

The decor could do with freshening up a bit but this hotel ids a venerable old lady and and shabby elegance did nothing to spoil my stay.
