Excellent place to stay in Harrogate.
Pros:

Lovely, large, airy and comfortable standard twin room. Good breakfast, bar food is excellent and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Ample free parking. Easy walk into Harrogate town centre. Third visit to the hotel and it didn’t disappoint.

Cons:

Short on power points - one for TV, one for kettle and one other, all along the same wall. Can only assume it’s because of the age of this fabulous old building.

Plenty of room for parking. Dogs allowed

Cons:

The roadworks on the roads all around. It made access to the hotel difficult. Not the fault of the hotel, just the contractors!

Pros:

Breakfast was really good. Location was very good.

Cons:

We were not happy with our first room allocation 210. It was noisy and did not seem to be a Superior Room. After asking to change rooms, we were pleased with the room given 333.

It was close to where we wanted to stay with good parking and reasonable price.

Cons:

The standard of food has gone down.
No croissants for breakfast or rolls.
Very inferior fish and chips at the bar. Disappointing tuna sandwich.m

Pros:

Breakfast very good choices. Staff attentive and welcoming.
Location central to the town with nice walks. Very near to RHS Harlow Carr. Well worth a visit!

Pros:

Breakfast was ok. Reasonable choice. Plates were nicely hot. I hate hot food on a cold plate.
Staff on the bar and at reception were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The shower curtain which stuck to you was a nuisance. Out room needed a refurbish. Several cracked floor tiles, aged wallpaper. The whole hotel needed bringing up to date in our opinion.
