Enttäuschung pur
Pros:

Das Servicepersonal Ilka, die uns mit dem Frühstück verwöhnt hat

Cons:

Wir sind mit dem von uns zu den vereinbarten Konditionen gebuchten Zimmer sehr unzufrieden und fühlen uns darin überhaupt nicht wohl. Wir befanden uns im 7 Stock und die Zimmer sind eine Zumutung!!!

Leider mussten wir folgende erhebliche Mängel feststellen:

* tropfende Dusche
* schmutziges WC / beschädigter Waschtisch
* abgekratzter bzw. beschädigter Wasserhahn
* fehlende Abdeckung bzw. fehlender Schutz am Lichtschalter neben dem Bett
* beschädigte Badezimmertür
* kein Zimmerservice (kein Toilettenpapier)
* Risse in der Decke
* ungepflegtes Dachfenster
* defekter Fußboden
* fehlende Kanelverkleidungsschächte

Insgesamt wirkt das Zimmer sehr ungemütlich und entspricht aus unserer Sicht keinesfalls dem Standard, den wir bei diesem Preis erwartet haben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für uns daher überhaupt nicht.

Ich besuche mindestens zweimal im Jahr ein Garner Hotel in Berlin und habe bisher immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Eine Unterkunft in einem derartigen Zustand habe ich jedoch bislang noch nicht erlebt.

Wir fordern eine angemessene Kostenerstattung!

Hôtel très sympa
Pros:

Hôtel calme et agréable, super petit-déjeuner, personnel sympa, transports communs à proximité. Mention spéciale pour le lit parapluie et les jolis petits draps !

Cons:

Salle de bain en (légèrement) moins bon état que le reste mais tout à fait convenable.

Very disappointing stay – no hot water for two days and poor communication.
Cons:

The stay at Garner Hotel Berlin - Ku'Damm was a big disappointment. Unfortunately, during our business trip, it was one of the few available accommodation options in the area. The hotel was unable to restore hot water throughout the entire hotel for two days, and we had to go to a partner hotel several streets away for breakfast. This was not a pleasant experience. The communication from the staff also did not make the situation any better. The suggestion to move to the partner hotel was only mentioned casually, even when my colleague was seriously complaining that it was impossible to take a hot shower.

We will definitely avoid this hotel on our next trips to Berlin.

Sehr schöner, zentraler Ort für einen Citytrip mit Familie!
Pros:

Wir waren zu dritt und unser 15 jähriger Sohn durfte ohne Aufpreis mit übernachten. Halleluja! Das Zimmer war hübsch und zweckmäßig, an jedem Bett ne Lampe und Steckdosen, gute Ablagefläche, Kleiderbügel, Haken, alles sehr professionell ausgecheckt. Aber durch das 50er Jahre Flair des Hauses doch mit Charme. Die Betten waren prima, zwei Kissen, aber das Beste war das Frühstück ( wieder kein Aufpreis für den Sohn!!) mit Ilka, die uns betüdelt hat. Wir durften sogar noch Brezen für die Fahrt mitnehmen, vielleicht weil noch viel übrig war, auf jeden Fall toll für uns und gegen den Wegwerfwahnsinn. Wir kommen wieder.

Cons:

Das Klo ist nix für große Leute:-)

Very disappointed
Pros:

The location was nice, not too central and not too far away from everything.

Cons:

38°C in Berlin and I had to sign up to their email list just to get a bottle of water with my room.

Booked a double room but got a twin room.

Towel had brown/yellow streaks on it.

No coffee or tea making facilities.

The breakfast area had a coffee machine but The cups are too small so the coffee overflows. It tastes mediocre but they'll still try to charge you €3.00 for it.

Some small coins were stolen from my room.

The staff are fairly incompetent, if you want to buy an overpriced drink you'll be waiting 5 minutes while they figure out how to use the card machine. This became a problem when we were checking out - the taxi driver was waiting outside while the staff were trying to charge us the Berlin city tax. We had to leave as they took too long.

Could be nice but it's managed very poorly.
