The fact that on top of paying for the hotel room that we have to pay for parking. That is insane and unheard of
Location & room size
Room should be cleaner, sticky carpets, look old, overused
The hotel was nice and quiet. The room was great except for the couch, that was a little dirty. Other wise the bathroom was nice and clean.
I will return to stay again.
No real issues.
We booked this hotel 7/5/26 due to a power outage in the area. It was a wonderful experience, Bhumi, the front desk clerk, was amazing. Smart, sweet, caring and was incredibly kind in how she treated us. The entire front desk staff, that night and the following morning, were terrific! The room was huge, the a/c was fabulous(it was 100+degrees out), the free breakfast buffet was delicious and the grounds were huge and varied. We had a fabulous experience and I've been telling everyone I come into contact with about it. The only negative was the $15 charge for parking. It's a private lot in an out of the way location and not advertised. At least be forthcoming about the fact that you charge. But that's an ownership/upper management issue, not the boots on the ground who were amazing. Thank you so much, we had a horrible experience the night before at a hotel in Morristown so this was a very welcomed experience.
Great location; easy on/off the I-80 and I-287. Sharing the same parking lot is a small plaza with a Dunkin (though temporarily closed), Jersey Mike's, and an excellent local Italian restaurant, Annabella's.
However, some words of caution for potential hotel guests…
First, and this may have been my fault for missing it, but be aware that the parking costs $15/night. I had certainly assumed that because the hotel is in the suburbs, there would be no overnight parking fee. This fee is inexplicable since parking is not a premium as it is in urban/city locations, and also, because it's an ungated lot. I've never had to pay for parking at a hotel that didn't have gated parking. At the very least, they should add the option to pay for it via the room charge instead of having to scan a QR code and pay a third-party vendor. This may be part of the property owner's lease agreement, and not the fault of the hotel, but it should be made clearer on the hotel website and when booking a room.
Check-in was fine; the front desk clerk handed me the correct amount of key cards without me requesting the quantity, and he shared all the pertinent hotel information in a succinct and friendly manner.
On our way to the room, there was a ceiling leak in the hallway that smelled…less than welcoming. We got to our room, which looked a little outdated, but still fine, but when we were going through it, we found the previous guests's clothes (a pair of Gap jeans and a pink Gap polo shirt, plus underwear, though at least that had been put into a laundry bag). The fact that a bright pink shirt had been hanging in the closet made us wonder what else housekeeping had missed when cleaning the room. The front desk clerk apologized and seemed taken aback at the situation, but offered nothing else but an apology. I have been given some kind of compensation for much less at other hotel chains.
In addition to the dirty clothes, the silverware and dishes in the drawers and cabinets were smudged with some caked-on food bits, so we had to run a dishwasher cycle ourselves. Getting the small kitchen is a prime reason to opt for Hyatt House brand hotels, but if you have to do the dishes before you use them, it leaves something to be desired.
Also, the room next door to ours was a housekeeping/mechanical room, and every hour or so, something would turn on and be extraordinarily loud through the living room wall. The soundproofing on the windows in both the living room and bedroom were also not enough to keep out the sounds of noisy pool guests close to midnight.
All of my previous Hyatt House experiences have been universally positive. And, in fact, this was the only time in my entire life that I've gotten to a hotel room and found dirty clothes still in it. It was really stunning that something so obvious could have been missed when cleaning the room for a new guest, especially when dirty clothes, and in particular dirty underwear, are of great concern for the health safety of guests. I'm just glad I was the one who found it and not one of my kids, who may have started digging through the bag of dirty underwear, not knowing what it was.
I've always had a good experience with Hyatt-branded hotels, but I'm thoroughly disappointed by this experience, and the fact that we were offered no compensatory measures in return has made me question the dedication to customer care of this Hyatt House, and the Hyatt brand in general.
Персонал был очень вежливый и отзывчивый.
За 3 ночи в этом отеле в нашем номере убрались всего один раз. Вода в номере стоит $6 за бутылку.
Very VERY clean, and easy to get to things like the train station and activities. Felt very safe and peaceful
The beds and pillows are just a bit uncomfortable, and the shower is very slippery.
Excellent location! Very clean facility, clean room and courteous staff. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend! Thank you!
I loved the staff and the room was cozy.
I didn’t appreciate the fact that a fuse blown while trying to plug up my cell phone to charge. I called the front desk and they immediately came but were unable to figure out how to turn the power back on to the lighting and television in the living room. I felt subjected to remain in the bedroom to watch television which wasn’t ideal. Instead of agreeing an accommodation they offered to give me points and I’m not even a rewards member .
Everything was just great
