Expensive
polite and responsive staff
no shower curtain or towels, huge issue with billing and refunding
Nothing, they were so outdated and dirty
Honestly the staff specially this guy was rude and the noise level was horrible with people drinking and smoking all in the hallways
Location
Breakfast was okay if it weren’t for the homeless eating there. Needs more of a food selection
Shower door needed to be on the opposite side of the shower
La posizione
Checkin durato 3 ore
K si potesse andare all'outlet vicino a piedi
Checkin lungo 3 ore, la receptionist ha proposto soluzioni non applicabili, un incubo.
Location is very convenient
The astronomical single day rate !
Besides, the room smells like tobacco even though the hotel advertised smoke-free rooms. I requested a different room but none was available. The front desk attendant said that she would ask housekeeping to spray something to reduce the smoke smell, but I didn't notice any change. I didn't know if housekeeping even come to my room to clear the smoke.
I like that I can see the sunset reimbursed my room
I didn't like the fact that my refrigerator had a stinky smell ,an how the speakers in the TV were blown out , or how I couldn't play my Nintendo switch on the wifi provide not sure why..or the bed was super squeaky and hard and very uncomfortable made my sides hurt.also...the house keeping wasn't up to parr...they tell you to ask them for service, but when you do its a issue getting it done or not at all. If I ask for housekeeping on monday, I shouldn't have to wait until tuesday to ask again and it's still not get done until I ask you again . Also the shower makes loud noiseswhen you get in ..the floor cracks.I also think this hotel should consider having no deposit required or lower it to $50
location
floors dirty, didn't clean, no wash cloths, drunk, high and homeless all over property. The office smelled like pot and they charged $10 a day for parking, but not disclosed until we got there.
The beds were hard, it was a smoke smell in the elevator. The shower wasn’t the cleanest look like build up dirt or mold on the walls.
Also a lot of homeless people walking around in the hotel parking lot searching the trash cans.
Air conditioning did not function, it was 80 degrees in our room the whole night, staff started there were no other rooms available and could not refund our money so we could go to another place.
Inexpensive
Was were very thin. Any noise from next door or hallway was like they were in the room.
Yes
The room
The lady at the front desk who couldn't just transfer my room to the next reservation without me. Making another deposit making it hard for me and my family to handle our business. Making us late 2 appointments. When we're out there to handle business, it could have been handled very simply, but she wanna make it hard. Canceling my first reservation to open a whole new one instead of just extending it through the computer system. Like, I know she can do. I can't stare somebody who makes things hard for people. If i'm spinning my money there, the customer should always be right period
Nothing
The room was disgusting.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
Upon checking into Room 350, I immediately noticed that the bedding was dirty and stained. The room was not in an acceptable condition, and I did not feel comfortable staying there. Within minutes of entering the room, I returned to the front desk to report the issue and checked out without using the room. I also took photos documenting the condition of the bedding.
I was instructed by the Vanessa at the front desk to contact their manager Anna Flores on Monday, so my refund could be processed. After speaking with Anna Flores the following Monday, I was reassured that the refund for my room, the parking ($10) and the deposit ($100) would be issued back to me. Based on those assurances, I waited several weeks expecting the matter to be resolved. I never received the refund for any of those costs.
Instead, after about 2-3 weeks, today, I was informed by Anna Flores that she would not grant the refund. The lack of accountability and the contradictory information I received were incredibly frustrating. Not only was I given a room that should never have been rented to a guest, but I also spent weeks trying to resolve an issue that should have been handled immediately. Now I have to dispute the charge weeks later with my credit union rather than having Anna keep the simple promise that she originally agreed to.
Cleanliness, honesty, and customer service are the bare minimum I expect from a hotel. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in every area. If you choose to stay here, inspect your room carefully before unpacking, and don’t expect the hotel to stand behind its promises if a problem arises.I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
Everything seemed great when we arrived. Room was clean. The lady in the office was very helpful and we stored our suitcases while we explored city. The first morning when we woke up, I found a bedbug crawling across my daughter’s bed. We immediately packed up and got out of room. I then went to the office and told them the situation. The same very helpful woman offered to give us a different room. I initially agreed, but then thought better of it, and found us accommodationsat a neighboring hotel. I have not yet received a refund for the remainder of our stay, but was told it was going to happen. I have also not yet received the deposit we were required to put on our room. This bedbug situation completely derailed our time in San Diego And still at home a week later I’m having anxiety that we possibly brought bedbugs home. Talk about a nightmare at the start of our family vacation. The staff at super eight was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was minimal, but that is to be expected for a hotel breakfast. I will also say there was quite a few unsavory characters hanging around the parking lot and staying at the hotel. During our stay at the neighboring hotel, I did see cops in the parking lot of the super eight. I would not recommend this hotel though the staff was great bedbugs are a no pass ever!
